I am a dunnes shopper I love dunnes but I have a huge problem with veg buying, as you mentioned the carrots are from Spain, I noticed the “spuds” are not Irish either , I noticed onions from NZ , I have decided to buy my veg from a fruit n veg shop locally owned and locally supplied. I try to support Irish growers and I’m willing to pay a bit extra to do so. Come on dunnes support Irish growers.
🍀Nice food haul! I also shop in Dunnes mostly when they give 10 euro off 50 euro vouchers. Me and my husband have dunnes cards and I mostly scan his card whenever shopping and very rearly I scan mine. I notice that I do get 10 euro off 40 euro more often than him! Isn't that crazy? I'd presume the would award loyal customers nut it's actually opposite. They send me those vouchers to bring me back to the store 😅
Love thise ham and cabbage dinners and theur roast beef ones too. One thig is I wish they wouod section off the trays and not have the spuds, veg, meat etc a sitting on the sauce, cos it tends to soak up all the sauce b4 u cook it. Thats the only thing.
Saturday afternoon HI 😊. Enjoyed your shop. Toni is looking good. Toni always looking for a snack. Millie to 😂. When will you do another live? How is new job going. I just got done taking my yearly required. I got 92 on test. I messed up on one question. 😢😢😢
Im dunnes girl cos im shopping there years and it's localism donaghmede i think when u get to know the bargains and own brands with vouchers can be brilleant and I like the meat deals. But each to there own thank u orla love the volgs keep them coming as love your channel❤❤❤❤
I agree with you re Dunnes, spuds and carrots don't look nice. Would be interested to know what you think of them Orla. Love Tony , he's too cool for school.
I'm with you on that i'm a lidl and aldi girl too, great value for money and the quality is excellent! Dunnes is very expensive even on basic staple items. That was a really good haul, your a great shopper 😁. The only thing is, it makes me think about food, and i now feel a bit ''pekish' I think Toni wants to be included in the shopping vlog, he is beyond cute🤗 Those eyes get me every time.
The problem.with both aldi and lidl is supply and stock. Many times I've gone in looking for something and it's not there and I then have to go elsewhere to find a substitute. It really puts me off bothering with lidl or aldi tbh and no matter how many times u complain to managers etc nothing ever changes
@@sapphire22011 Yes i agree stock fly's off the shelves, Friday's to be manic, by the weekend shelves are bare. I find wednesday's a good day, with the odd discount added in at times. I feel your fustration when the manager stares at you blankly, from what i know they have no idea what's coming in. I was told this on several occasions, how strange!
@@2ndstarfromtherightsolas881 yes, but it's hapoened do often now it can't be sold out EVERY TIME. Plus they are buggers for discontinuing things without warning. Also they are not that much cheaper now than tesco or dunnes
@OrlasCrazyLife yes, but prices have gone up since COVID. For example mince meat (good quality) is over 10 EUR/kg. Sugar 1.6 EUR kg, milk 1.5 EUR, cheddar is 10eur kg etc
I needed this so badly Orla! ❤ I’ve been down a rabbit hole in a case - Clayton Echard v Laura Ownes. Craziest story ever. She has faked twin pregnancies with at least 4 men. Her lawyer is a nutter. He has this blog, he argues with the internet over X formally known as Twitter. It’s crazy and mentally exhausting. I’m almost afraid to tell you because I cannot be held responsible if it peaks your interest and you decide to just see it. After the trail date of June 10 I can settle down. 😂 Thank you for the haul!
