Reminds me of sorry! And aggregation. I love the tileable design as well. I might have to use this to make some really interesting custom aggravation boards
The game reminds me of the board game sorry (not payed with cards but rather dice) . I am anxious to p,at this game . Thank you for the clear directions !
I just learned this game 6 weeks ago. I know there are variations to playing. I play the way I learned but am open to trying other variations so if anyone has anything interesting in how they play, let me know. We use the 2’s to switch places with other players (only marbles in play; not any at start or home). Using the Joker you can take one of your marbles out of start and switch with another marble in play. The marble you bump goes back to start. However if all marbles are in play (or already home), the Joker is played like a 2. In other words, you’re not kicking that marble back to start because yours didn’t come from start. This usually only happens toward the end of a game. We have also played in teams but no talking over the board. This could actually goof up their plans if they had a strategic move in mind had you not tried to “help” them. Can be a bummer at times. But it’s a lot of fun. Like I said I just started playing this game but I immediately loved it. It reminded me of a combination of Trouble and Sorry. But for adults sort of. One thing we don’t do as your video alluded to is that you cannot go around the board twice. Sometimes we’re “stuck in limbo” should you not be able to bump up your marbles in home since you cannot jump over yourself and therefore you’re a sitting duck. Establish rules before play so everyone is on the same page. It’s a great time and anyone can play!😊
Just so you know in our city of Hendersonville of TN, we play with “Christmas Peg Lights” instead also with 6 cards as well & the card #2 of “Hearts” that we do it like that, all we do is just move it up only 2 spots, an Ace is also 1 space or as a come out card with the Face Cards of the “Jacks-Kings Cards” of each suit can come out or go up as 10 spaces. Just like you said on the “8”, is kind of right & wrong at the sametime, whenever you’re in your come out spot, DO NOT go back “8” spaces bc you may never know that your opponent might have a “10” card & it’s better to go up either up 1 space then go back “8” spaces or if have 2 pieces out, you can use your “9” card instead of your “8” card instead then use your “8” card if you’re up between 1-3 spaces so that way you can be in the go in space of “5” card or however many spaces card that you have. The “Joker” can be used with ANYONE across the board on your opponent to send them back home or at to your partner to help them so that way they can go in & then they can help your next partner or if you’re the next partner to be helped. Sometimes if you get “Jokers” & just backup cards of the “9’s” & “8’s” with “7’s” as well but the “7’s” don’t have to be split, can be used to go straight of that many spaces unless you can use it to help yourself to get 2 pegs or in the video shows “Marbles” in the “Home Spot” then you’re safe. It’s an addictive & fun game as well, too. We play just about every Friday night with our friends that’re around the age of late 70’s & 80’s as well with a friend that plays that she’s 94 & still loves to play as well with up to 8 people every now & then & then sometimes just regularly with 6 people
Just started playing this and it seems the game is too easy with this many cards being used. If you’re only using one deck, nearly 1/3 of the deck is face cards and aces. We played about five games and realized it was nearly impossible to even be forced to go around the board with all of the eights and nines backing you up. With two players, we only use one deck and went down to only having three cards in our hand. Having five cards, this game is much too easy as you will almost always have the exact cards you need. The reason why sorry is such a great game is because the cards you really want are not that abundant
@@wizardwoodworks2158 Never thought of that. Will bring that up with my wife. I did make a board for my sister-in-law over the Christmas Holidays. Would like to see a video on how to play online.
@@kentharris7427 Yes, that would be fun to see. As I understand it, you set up the game on each end with enough paddles for ALL the players. Then you move the remote players the same as they move themselves. It's "almost" as if they're there :)
:( to move. But you couldn't hide and keep your cards and hold them when to play etc.. All strategy.. Just because dice have numbers as do cards does not mean at they play the same..
It IS a lot of fun! There are similarities to the game "Sorry" in that you start out from your Start, than move around the board to Home. Landing on other players sends them back to their Start. But because it is played with cards (and not the roll of the dice) you have a lot more strategy to how you move your men. You can actually calculate several moves ahead . . . as long as another player doesn't mess up your plan! You should give it a try!
Thank you for the video.
The game sounds like tons of fun.

Am learning to play, its a Blast! Hope you enjoy it also.
Every game has an element of chance in it. I am still learning, and it is fun.
Thanks for the video

Never seen discarding prior to drawing from the deck. Unless we've been playing it wrong you draw, make your move and discard.
That’s how I learned too.
Made the game with a CNC Router. Was wondering if there was a computerized version of the game.
Not that we are aware of, but we have heard of families in separate locations playing through Zoom!

Shuffled cards play the same role as dice in terms of introducing luck to the game. It is not "all strategy."

so neat
What is the cost
Hi Sandra, the 8-player set through our website is $89 free shipping
This looks like a lot of fun. It seems like it's very close to the board game, Sorry. Tyfs

@@wizardwoodworks2158 sorry is also played with cards jsyk! but it uses a dedicated deck instead of a french suited deck :)
Sounds fun
It is! Very strategic. You should give it a try!
A VERY EXPENSIVE game.
