- Senator Leila de Lima on Thursday motioned that Commission on Human Rights Chairperson Chito Gascon to explain the position of the commission before the Senate committee and that the committee not jump from hearing the spate of extrajudicial killings to hearing the death penalty.

Gordon seems to look qualified in heading a committee as chairman but hope that he is also clean (not corrupt) for him to be credible.

i don't know..but i hope i'm not colored by the issues against her but every time she has the mic it's as if "she thinks she's all-knowing, she's on the right,she's better than her co-senators"..she has a different tone, like she seems tensyonada, scowling na parang ewan, may hand gestures pa... her body language says a lot about her.. I agree. The best thing to do is to move on to other issues . . . Poverty, ENDO, Traffic congestion, Rehabilitation Centers/Counseling for drug victims/users, etc. Disruptions would slow down the need to address and remediate the situation on other significant issues.
