Been waiting for someone to make a “budget” build.
How wide is the boat? Afraid of it rolling over when standing?
It’s a 32” boat at the bottom, and no I messed around with standing a bit and it’s definitely plenty stable for what I need it for. Plus having it be narrower can help with navigating smaller creek and river channels for getting into property I want to bowhunt

You planning on adding guide ons? Pretty much mandatory once you start dealing with current. I run a 16' jet boat but it doesnt work for every situation so I bought a solo canoe too. My first boat was very similar to this and I decked the entire thing. Id actually suggest you dont do that, the thing looked awesome and people loved it but it made it very unstable.
All great advice, this boat won’t see much of any current as far as rivers go and I only decked the front but made sure it is removable incase I need it to be!
