Hi, I fallowed exactly the same way. I sent a mail to the customer service and i asked 3 screens because i think it may happen to the other screens… and they sent to me very fast. It was a little bit difficult to replace the screen but it worked. Thank you admin for your video. (From Turkiye)

Thank you for this video. I did this in reverse order, i contacted them via email and they sent me the replacement screens and a link to your video. I followed your lead and viola, it worked. I was a bit dubious of the screen disconnection part, but i simply scored the top of the connection with my small screwdriver and then it popped off. The new one then just slipped in and the little flap went over it....i used the tape over top as you did. Nice!
I just tried this today and they said they didn't have any more screens. It's just unfortunate that these transmitters were such trash. I should have gone with the DJI
Thanks for sharing. This worked perfectly well for me! After I replaced the screen that was faulty (I could barely see the image in a low light conditions) I was surprised how clear and bright the screen was and I find out other devices are not the same and has defects as well, so replaced screens on entire set. Awesome support from Saramonic, it seems they are aware of the issue and are happy to help. p.s. Just be gentle with the screen connector on the main board.

@@HoinarPrinDeltă This is one of the companies with the worst customer service possible, as much as I have contacted them in every way possible - there is no real answer, even though there should be a recall for this device and they should take responsibility. I am willing to pay and fix it myself, but they are not even willing to sell me what I need. stay away from them, stay away from SARAMONIC
rw096f009 That's what's on the back of my LCD (technically OLED looks like), but all searches show the monitor with a wide flex connector rather than the narrow one that's on the unit.
@@jonathanchan3834 seems it is a customized product, I also wrote to Saramonic global support and they will send me the monitor to change by myself with only shipping fee.

I will try reaching out through the contact email, but it seems unlikely that they will provide any solution. It's a shame because the microphones are very good, but as Delta Dunării rightly points out, the screens lose brightness over time until they darken completely.
It's a nice video, I have the same issue, but it customer service in the UK is not very helpful. Do you know what kind of screen they use, I probably will look to buy it somewhere.

I was in urgent need to i replace my receiver screen with Trasmitter and its working fine for me i will order the screen now, btw how much does it cost to you ?
I wrote to saramonic and they refuse to sell the lcd's, they prefer to give me a 20% discount on a new system and or for me to send them my units to see if they can fix them and charge me for it. so pay for shipping back and forth and repair, I mind as well get new ones but if the lcd's are not reliable perhaps different brand. I have differnt electronics with lcd for years in working condition, but both transmitter and receiver lcd are bad after year and a half.
@@HoinarPrinDeltăthere the clamping cover fell off, I tried to attach the display cable to the contacts while it was on, unfortunately it did not light up, I attached the old display in the same way, it also did not work. In general, it was a waste of time to repair it.

bad idea. I took it apart in exactly the same way, but I couldn’t change the display no matter how I tried. It would be better not to touch it.
