The Symphony X influence in this band is really really strong, sometimes it's like listening to Iconoclast, but their music es awesome anyways. I'm definitely getting this album.

hahaha when I first discovered DGM i thought the exact same thing! the song "Flesh and Blood" pretty much has almost the exact same opening riff as Iconoclast haha ... SX is my #1 most fav band over a decade, and that's what made me love DGM immediately, it's like more SX songs haha ... you can definitely see the identicality in the style, but still love em!
Correction, Symphony X sounds like DGM, as they were around first.

thats absolutely symphony x but in the best way possible. also their cooperation with Tom Englund is an absolute homage to Evergrey and there are others on the album but it is a masterpiece on its own right for sure. love it

great song like always! I love these dgm´s riff of the last three albums, top 20 metal albums but why don´t keep the speed? jaja. I miss songs like "is hell without love", "prenennial quest" or "close to you". One of the greatest progressive metal bands anyway! and they don´t need make a 20minutes song for be progressive.

Ron Royales it's the 3 initials of the 3 founding members of the band. None of which happen to still be in the band. Actually, there are no original members left, but that's perfect fine by me. This lineup of the past 3 records is by far the best.
