Great content. I am a 3L in a fully online accredited program. I would say if a person is able to go the traditional route, then yes, do that. But for the people (like myself) who were unable to go traditional due to health reasons, financial, or some tragedy, then online is an option. It is definitely not the best option. I would have much rather been a traditional law student, but that was not an option for me. I still wanted to get my JD, so this has worked for me at this time in my life. Unfortunately, there is a disconnect with professors and students which is inevitable for online programs. The lack of support and isolation is felt so the right mindset is huge. Consistency is key and independent study is essential - but that is probably similar with traditional schools too. 😊👌

There are ABA accredited schools that have in person and online and they added online post pandemic. But they have full online clinics, mock trial, and clubs. So you can meet online (via zoom or Webex) to connect and truly be hands on. Just something to share in case people are worried that online means they can't join clubs or be engaged. Also Cold Calling does happen online too. Most online programs will have classes that you still have to attend at a certain time , be on camera, and get called out by the teacher. It's just on a computer screen. I loved your video, I just think there's a lot of info that's important to know .

This is about the most accurate portrayal of online law school.
Online is just as good as in person.

@@chrisdavis6264I am happy to hear that you’ve had a good experience too! If you don’t mind please share which online school you attend/attended so that those who are contemplating law school and reading the comments can look into it.

I have been watching many of your videos on the Law School experience and I have been awaiting on your thoughts on the online law school idea. It’s pretty much falls in-line with many of the other people on TH-cam.
The world has changed, it’s no longer on the process of changing, COVID-19 Proved that. I believe as long as students do their research they will be fine. No matter how traditional the legal system may appear to be they too will have to bend to fit into this new world.

@@Letstalkaboutitfab I appreciate your perspective and it will be good for others who view this video to see 😊! I agree that times have changed and the legal profession is adjusting and will continue to. The biggest risk factor with many online schools is the aba accreditation and ability to sit for the bar exam as if that factor is missing for the school then options are very limited for a person who wants to be a practicing attorney. I’m sure that will change over time along with other things!

Hi! Do I have to reside in u.s borders in order to do a fully online law degree (only coming in for exams) and would the degree be as valid as a normal law degree if the college im attending is ABA certified?

Hi! …. The online accredited programs besides maybe 1 are very unaffordable in my opinion

The program that I’m looking at has cold call and we would meet online at least 3 times a week

Research about the LLB which can be achieved online in the UK like University of London. I don't think it is possible to discredit traditional law schools from other paths to passing the bar. When it really comes to practicing law the bar exam is most important not the school. It is shallow thinking. How someone earns their degree is childish and nonsense. Go to the school with understanding what your outcomes are for law. In truth, I think I am impressed with a person who could just study and learn the law system without a school. I would hire that person over an immature learning. Online education is for the andragogy thinking student which is the adult mind and traditional law schools are for the pedagogy level individuals. I have a son who will attend law school in London another on who is at a very great law school in Indiana. Both will do fine in law because the person makes the difference not the school because they are both intelligent people. My greatest point is to simply find the best place to study to show yourself approved and have the confidence in yourself to get to where you are going.
