@@HawkeyeM exactly, like comparing apples and oranges. War thunder and DCS both have planes in them, very different games but both satisfy their markets, FP and RF4 both have fish in them. Its great that theres 2 mature fishing games that cater for casual players who just want fish in an easy going manner and another that is a tough and detailed long terrm challenge.
The timing on the cafe orders is in ingame hours, 1 hours equals 2.5 minutes. so if the order has 10:00 on timer is 10 hours ingame so 25 minutes real time. As a tip, you should not be targeting pike at low level, they can bite through anything you are using and you will loose the lures rather fast. So you will spend more to catch them than you will get from them. On the spinner there is only one retrive method that works and thats speedup, to do it you need to set the speed retrive to be lower and use shift to reel in. When you do it correctly there should be text appearing above tesnsion bar in the left corner. When the text disappears after ~4 seconds reel in without the shift for few seconds and repeat. Twitching or anything of sort does not work with spinners. There is a decent spot for chub behind the cafe when you stand on the wooden pier(couple of planks in the water), cast close to the shore on your left. As for float fishing it is much slowet in night than during the day, chasing after bleak and dace with casters will also give you more silver than spinning with this gear. I've sent you some small hooks and baits to try and tea to get the comfort up much faster. When you are casting holding shift makes the cast meter fill a lot faster. When you are fighting a fish you can go into the orange tension, so you can use higher friction brake setting and get fish in faster, just avoid the red when you are learning the game again.
I tried your spot but was not having much luck. I wasn't able to use the smaller ones until I leveled. Do you think that may be the issue or am I just having bad luck?
@@HawkeyeM yes it can be the issue, both bleak and dace want tiny hook, 24 or 22 are the best, anything bigger and they slow down a lot. if you used the 16 size as on video they will be very slow. Bleak like fly most, and casters second, dace like mostly casters. Also what is crucial for those type of fish is for the float to be actually traveling with the current, if you put down the rod and the float stops and just sits in 1 place there will be less bites. going for dace and bleak you usually want to only use 1 rod and just keep it in your hand, the bites are very fast as those 2 fish do not nibble like roach or carp. In general you need to be casting left at 100% cast toward south mark on compas and let the float slowly drift with the current, if floats to down to the point where the line gets tension and does not float anymore recast to south - this is crucial and will result in more bites.
am just happy to help out. i did send you some stuff on youre other profile when you where dooing RF4 active last time allso. youre sound sounds just fine. the only thing you might want to do is to lower the game sound in game. i normaly turne of music 100% and ceep the rest on arrond 30 to 40% but thats more to youre pref.

the scale of the river was adjusted when it was reworked, so its slightly wider now than it was when you last played. you can now name super trophy blue tags over 10kg and release them, these are the "famous inhabitants", if someone else catches your fish they can put it back and their details will go in that fish's history. More likely is that they'll sell it or mount it in their house, so it will disappear from "famous inhabitants". I had a named fish that lasted 2 years before someone caught it but with fish that just make blue tag status, a 31kg common carp for example, they'll probably be caught and sold within a week or so.
That is so weird, but there was often a practice in pay lakes around here to tag larger specimens of catfish. When you caught them, you were expected to release them, but to bring the tag to the front office for a cash prize. I managed to catch a channel catfish that weighed over 22 lbs. that had a $50 tag. Got a picture AND the $50 which paid for my whole day and then some!
Too bad there are no demos available I'd like to try a couple of these games just can't justify spending the money. Especially since they are out of my comfort zone.
