5:00 fun fact, Dutch NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen) jingle can also be heard on LRT Jabodebek in Jakarta, Indonesia. I bet there are some Dutchies or ex-NS employee who worked for the LRT project 🤔
Abit of correct at (5:55): This Chime sound is usually used for next station announcements, and Singapore already has some new jingle chimes at stations with different variants.
1:57 Il treno regionale veloce 3907 di Trenitalia TPER, proveniente da Piacenza e diretto a Ancona, delle ore 7:58, è in arrivo al binario 3. Attenzione: allontanarsi dalla linea gialla. The Hungarian is wrong. It is only played for InterCity trains. For other announcements a very different but more characteristic and recognizable jingle is played.
1:23 This is inaccurate, only Adelaide, Sydney and some inner-city Brisbane railway stations have this iconic upward-pitched 3-tone/broken chord. Melbourne has a separate jingle, and most of Brisbane has a 2-tone jingle, with the downwards-pitched 2-tones indicating northbound trains and upwards-pitched 2-tones indicating southbound trains. Perth has no jingle.
How are there 3 train companies called BTS? and how is Bulgaria's companie called Korail? 4:37 Also, The belgian train company, SNCB/NMBS (french and dutch), in english known as Belgian Railways, does not have a jingle for station announcements, as they've been automated. In trains with automated announcements, there's not jingle either. If it's done using a mic, there's still a jingle in the train. I've never heard an announcement made with a mic in a station, so I don't know if there is one. In any case, the one sounded at 4:37 is not the one used in trains.
