To me, my tattoos are depictions of my own eras - times of my own being that are significant to me. They are icons of times where my being has been full of doubt and helplessness and confusion and fear, and they are icons of time where my being has been full of ambition and determination and pride and hope.
Each image I've inked forever under my skin represents a part of me that has existed in the past, parts of me that have made me who I am now.
I can't stress enough how proud I am of myself now. If The Boys are not yet proud of everything that has made them who they are - regardless of their popularity during those times - then I hope with all my heart that all five of them one day realise and deeply choose to fall in love with this era of the Brush. It's brought so much comfort and familiarity and amusement to so many people. This era has offered this world some synonym of "belonging".
You Boys have nothing to regret in your lives. No matter the things you boys feel are worthy of regret in your past, I hope that you realise to some significant extent that not only has every victory made you who you are, but every failure, every embarrassment, every boring part of you, every regret you've had has become you.
