    I believe the specs are correct. However, after purchasing, i found out that it is an OEM product rebranded to Lumos and paid more compared to other rebranded brands. Some example of similar product but different brand and cheaper, Armax m19, Vankyo v630w. Here in malaysia, I paid rm300 more for Lumos Auro compared to Armax m19 smart which are the same. So just sharing so that anyone who want to buy do not overpay for influencer fees, digital marketing, etc cost.

    • @LivingLifeLAUd
      @LivingLifeLAUd  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? I'm still doubtful on the 6000 lumens. But you're right that it's rebranded over here in SG. But I rationalise that the additional amount is for the local warranty and service should there be repairs needed.

      Just for comparison in Malaysia, i paid rm1299 for smart/android lumos Auro. Armax m19 smart/android is RM989.
      No, both have 12months warranty, the additional RM300 to me now its for the strong digital marketing/influncer reviews etc. Haha

    I'm kinda thrown off by Lumos shipping uncertified Android TV instead of the official Google certified version with additional Netflix certification. From another review I saw, it has tablet Netflix instead of actual TV Netflix. It likely also has tablet Play Store instead of the TV version, and likely also tablet TH-cam too. Those tablet apps are designed for touch input, rather than a remote control.

  • @jasonsiew3344
    @jasonsiew3344 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Just my 2 cents from a lumos owner for half a year.
    The brightness and picture quality is amazing for movie nights, watching in dark but definitely not so good for watching it in broad daylight like what you shown!!
    Your living room is somewhat like mine, still got a lot of light when the blinds are drawn, so not the best. Cant compare to TV, projector can make screen so big

    • @LivingLifeLAUd
      @LivingLifeLAUd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      No doubt that it works great in pitch blackness like all projectors do (even those with 30 lumens).
      But the website states that this is a 6000 lumens projector which should be able to project a reasonably clear image even in ambient lighting conditions (eg. office, auditorium etc). You can Google other 6000 lumen projectors and their capabilities.
      This is the main gripe that i have - a little misrepresentation in my opinion....

    Thanks for your honest review, I personally have doubt over the claimed 6000 lumens but from your video, I believe it should have 1200 to 1500 ANSI Lumens max.
    I have some other benQ and Epson business class projector rated at 3300 and 5000 ANSI lumens, at merely 20% brightness also can outperform this local brand.

    It certainly doesn't look like 6000 lumens brightness. Anyway, the difference between the sharpness on the right and left sides has nothing to do with whether it's a laser projector or not. It's because it doesn't have lens shift.
