Mr. Hedary you are a godsend. For the past month my beloved W201 with the M103, in my possession for the past 20 years, started to exhibit near 0 bar pressure after warming up and while stopped in traffic/signal and going back to 3 bar upon acceleration symptom. My local mechanic, no he was not German :) and knew just about as you unfortunately retired leaving the business to his godson, godson which said that the problem is with the main bearings - change to a thicker oil and get rid of the car. Now I'll just change the oil sender, stop going to that garage and continue watching your channel.
Ditto. Same problem. W124 260E M103 - on 1989 vintage. "near 0 bar pressure after warming up and while stopped in traffic/signal and going back to 3 bar upon acceleration symptom." Changing the oil sender!

You know about my 1992 Euro C124 300CE-24 (M104). The oil pressure sending unit(s) failed twice, including a brand new part installed for 11 months. The quality of these parts even from MB not what they used to be. Erratic gauge readings causing my heart rate to jump. And there was a big leak.
Where might one find the video regarding replacement of oil pressure sending unit? (fwiw, easier from above or below?? - from above necessitating removal of intake manifold?)
My 1987 Mercedes 190D has 124k Mike's, drives great. When the out door temperature is over 80°, the oil gauge drops halfway, and the car struggles to accelerate at any incline. Once on level ground, the car runs great, the oil gauge goes back up. Is this an oil sensor gauge issue?
Nice video Pierre. According to my mechanic, mine W126 300SE has zero oil pressure but the engine is lubricated. Can i drive the car this way or it's better to chance the cinder immediatly? Greets from Brazil. And o need this oil pressure cinder. Do you seel it to me? If you do, please give me your e-mail. Tks.

golden info thank you! I will check tomorrow morning for symptoms and hopefully it is the sender unit failing!
Great info. But my OCD got triggered because the star on the hubcap behind you is not straight up and down. Please correct !
