Let me explain:
Amanda is actually a little girl named Rebecca. Her father Sam made a live action TV show. Things were going great, until a company called Hameln approached him and offered to make it a cartoon. He saw this as an opportunity. But, Hameln was trying to trap the little girl in the TV, to make it better and realistic for money. When Sam found out, he wanted to quit. But he knew too much, so the person known as 'The man in the headphones' slaughtered him. Hameln then trapped her inside, and made an AI program known as "Wooly" to stop her from warning us all. The reason she hurts Wooly is because she knows of this all and wants to warn us. The demon? No one really knows.
