Good morning to my fellow Floridian!!! I absolutely loved this little series. This was especially informative. I love this hidden spine technique. I've made a couple of books using an old book cover. I have purchased old books from thrift stores that have beautiful covers with solid spines I didn't want to cover. This hidden spine technique is perfect to addition and you make it look so easy to do. Thank you for posting this series. Your humor, knowledge and ease of explanation is so inspiring; whether you are a beginner or an advanced junk journal enthusiast. Tfs and enjoy the beautiful sunshine!!! 🌞😊💗

Hi Pam. I want to thank you for your very detailed and visual explanation/demonstrations. For someone who is relatively new to journaling, we don't know what we don't know until we watch you. Everytime I want to know how to do something, I watch your channel. Believe me, there are some wonderful ladies doing beautiful work that are very confusing and fast. Thanks for making this enjoyable.

Thanks so much for this series with a hidden spine. I am now on my third regular spine journal and wanted to do a hidden spine next, but I'm only doing two signatures because of the width of my book. This series is just what I needed. I should have NO problems because your instructions were so thorough and easy to follow. I appreciate your channel very much!

Yay!. You heard me; happy you stenciled the cardboard spine in black to pickup on black & white fabric (even tho it doesn't show much!). I laughed out loud when you said "magic marker". 😂💕 We were taught that when they were 1st introduced. Took me years B4 I realized they aren't, but still say from time-to-time! Thank you for going slowly & all angles! I learn so much from you!👍💕

Hi Pam, I just love this technique, thank you for sharing it with us. I've worked in libraries for many years and when we repair books that have had the book come away from the spine, often in paperback form, once we have glued the down the back of the spine to the spine of the book we use thick rubber bands to hold the spines together. This puts enough pressure on the spine to adhere it to the book. I hope this makes sense? Your way works too but having the rubber bands works as well. I love your videos you are very inspiring.
