Other people assume: that the concert is a job for me, also for someone on a plane it is a work schedule but Mingyu has different thoughts, according to himself the concert as a place to channel energy and passion, he also felt his heart pounding when boarding a plane like going to vacation. Mingyu considers life to be the same as a game, just like a game character who learns while developing, he enjoys what he does.
Mingyu's healthy positive mind is one of the many reasons why I fell hard for this man. He's such a pure person with no ill intention, he sees the world as his playground. there are many ways of being introvert and he defenitly thinks and speaks introverted. but he is never afraid of talking and saying what he wants to say, i find this sooo interesting. he is such a loveball, always enjoying, always smiling and he spreads positivity where ever he is. and he doesn't even know he is like this.
I'm pretty sure in the Going Seventeen MBTI episode he's an extrovert. But being an extrovert doesn't necessarily mean you will naturally share and express your thoughts. It's just about how people absorb their surroundings. Introverted people are sensitive to their surroundings, so they tend to get tired and overwhelmed easily when the environment is too loud/active/foreign--thus the stereotype and assumption that introverts are not open about themselves are born. Extroverted people, on the other hand, are not as sensitive, so they voluntarily seek for external stimulation, and they get energy from interacting with their surroundings. I think Mingyu is definitely an extrovert. He likes being outside and exploring and taking in new things and is fascinated with people. I/E personality doesn't determine whether you're open about your troubles and thoughts or not. So he can still be an extrovert while still being closed off about his personal troubles.

When Mingyu said he didn't have a goal, I was suprised. You'd expect idols to say that they want to be the best and get lots of rewards, but he never said that. He just wants to do what he loves to the best of his ability and see where it takes him. But at the same time, it relieved me because I'm in year 10 and my school has a subject called "careers" where they encourage you to think about what subjects you're going to choose for senior years, what uni you want to go to, what job you want, etc. And it just stresses me out because I literally have no idea what I want to do with my life. Even though I'm only in year 10, it absolutely terrifies me to think about the future. The change can be overwhelming and the pressure of getting a good job and making your family proud and whatever is even more stressful. I literally nearly cried the first day of high school because I knew that I was growing up and getting closer to adulthood, which terrified me. It was until I saw my friends that I calmed down. But what happens when I feel that overwhelming fear again? I know that I can't always rely on my friends so what will I do? Now, that Mingyu said he didn't have a proper goal, I was relieved. Because now, he's part of a band with his 12 brothers who are known worldwide and its just amazing how far they've come. So I'll follow what Migyu said, "It might be stupid not to have a goal, but I don't have one. If I just keep going, won't I find myself going beyond such goal?" Thank you Kim Mingyu for making me realise that I don't need a proper goal to be successful. Yes, change can be scary, but its for the best. I just need to do what makes me happy and thats when I'll truly be successful. ❤️❤️

I like to do too many things, and I can't choose a single path or stick to few things...Mingyu really is open minded and wise and I agree with him, having a goal in life is actually something society tendentially asks us, but not everyone is naturally made like that and don't have to force herself-himself to be like that! Wish you luck for your future: anxiety and fear for it are normal, there will always be, but if the approach to life is light and positive, all the obstacles will be empowering and all the challenges will be enjoyable

I have never believe in revenge as a solution. It might be because of how I was brought up. Thankfully Pledis resolved it peacefully with both parties Mingyu and the accuser. And now he can go back to promotions again. I think this time Pledis is one of the only companies that managed this situation really well.

Mingyu on the oustide is clumsy and makes corny jokes, is bullied (jokingly) by other members, but deep down, he is actually a very wise one and he doesn’t keep grudges on any of his brothers in svt. He is responsible, reliable, talented, passionate, loving, caring and intelligent. What he said about stifling emotional differences just hit me hard. Coz it is true and it is deep. It’s keeping the cool in the midst of an argument. It’s looking at criticisms, and fine tuning them to see the lesson. It’s managing our emotions. These things change the quality of our lives. I adore Seventeen, and I definitely love Kim Mingyu sunbaenim. Till the last ‘say the name’, I am here to support these guys.

mingyu really is so much more than a pretty face. he’s pretty soft spoken about his thoughts but whatever he says just makes so much sense and is really well thought out. him thinking of this whole career as playing and fun, him constantly finding new hobbies as “rest”, giving him energy is a whole different perspective. this man
i was really interested for mingyu's episode because thinking back on it, he's never really talked about his thoughts and feelings in this way before ^^ it's been so nice to see how he's grown and matured since debut.

I love Mingyu's mindset. The way he knows what he wants to do, the way he learns new things, I just admire him. As he said he's got a lot of hobbies and doesn't have a particular goal, honestly I think It's so interesting to see that. Him deciding to film a whole snapshoot mv, especially deciding to film Dino in the middle of the street was such a fun and interesting idea that wasn't planned. I think as a person he's got a laid-back personality, he's a chill person, but not lazy. Even if he finds things hard, he just changes the way he sees them, changes it into something positive and that's what I like about him, well it's one of the many things I like about him. He's confident in himself, he trusts himself and his members, addresses them as his family, it's so sweet to see that. Seventeen being supportive of each-other and adoring each-other is so admirable. Also when he said that life's like a game I agree, I think he enjoys gaming, so i think he also enjoys life the same way.

I adore Mingyu so much. He always knows what's best for him, and he doesn't let anyone else decide otherwise because he knows he's the one who controls his own emotions. He sees the best in everything (like in the video he says he thinks riding a plane or doing a concert isn't work since he's enjoying it after all), he's also always broadening his hobbies and interests to make every moment and every freetime they have, counts. Because it's useless after all, if you only have goals and you keep chasing it but you feel like it just keeps moving away from you. I think the best thing to do is not have a limited fixed goal, but rather do things that you enjoy right now and try improving at it before you move onto something else.

I'm pretty sure in the Going Seventeen MBTI episode he's an extrovert. But being an extrovert doesn't necessarily mean you will naturally share and express your thoughts. It's just about how people absorb their surroundings. Introverted people are sensitive to their surroundings, so they tend to get tired and overwhelmed easily when the environment is too loud/active/foreign--thus the stereotype and assumption that introverts are not open about themselves are born. Extroverted people, on the other hand, are not as sensitive, so they voluntarily seek for external stimulation, and they get energy from interacting with their surroundings. I think Mingyu is definitely an extrovert. He likes being outside and exploring and taking in new things and is fascinated with people.

When Mingyu said he didn't have a goal, I was suprised. You'd expect idols to say that they want to be the best and get lots of rewards, but he never said that. He just wants to do what he loves to the best of his ability and see where it takes him. But at the same time, it relieved me because I'm in year 10 and my school has a subject called "careers" where they encourage you to think about what subjects you're going to choose for senior years, what uni you want to go to, what job you want, etc. And it just stresses me out because I literally have no idea what I want to do with my life. Even though I'm only in year 10, it absolutely terrifies me to think about the future. The change can be overwhelming and the pressure of getting a good job and making your family proud and whatever is even more stressful. I literally nearly cried the first day of high school because I knew that I was growing up and getting closer to adulthood, which terrified me. It was until I saw my friends that I calmed down. But what happens when I feel that overwhelming fear again? I know that I can't always rely on my friends so what will I do? Now, that Mingyu said he didn't have a proper goal, I was relieved. Because now, he's part of a band with his 12 brothers who are known worldwide and its just amazing how far they've come. So I'll follow what Migyu said, "It might be stupid not to have a goal, but I don't have one. If I just keep going, won't I find myself going beyond such goal?"
Thank you Kim Mingyu for making me realise that I don't need a proper goal to be successful. Yes, change can be scary, but its for the best. I just need to do what makes me happy and thats when I'll truly be successful. ❤️❤️

I like to do too many things, and I can't choose a single path or stick to few things...Mingyu really is open minded and wise and I agree with him, having a goal in life is actually something society tendentially asks us, but not everyone is naturally made like that and don't have to force herself-himself to be like that! Wish you luck for your future: anxiety and fear for it are normal, there will always be, but if the approach to life is light and positive, all the obstacles will be empowering and all the challenges will be enjoyable

My heart hurts thinking about all that is happening rn. I cant help but look for videos with Mingyu and wish that no one should go through any of this. I have never believe in revenge as a solution. It might be because of how I was brought up. If he really is like what the accusations are, he should take all the time he has to reflect and come back when its the right time. Life is like a moving wheel. Sometimes you are up, sometimes you are down. Rather than making demands for him to leave, I hope people take the positive side out of this. @@lovelove-55s there were bullying accusation accusing Mingyu of being a terrible person in his highschool / middle school days. Thankfully Pledis resolved it peacefully with both parties Mingyu and the accuser. And now he can go back to promotions again. I think this time Pledis is one of the only companies that managed this situation really well.

Whoahh. This episode of HTR just overflows with wisdom. Just like what one member said (I think it was Wonu), Mingyu has a smart mouth. Mingyu on the oustide is clumsy and makes corny jokes, is bullied (jokingly) by other members, but deep down, he is actually a very wise one and he doesn’t keep grudges on any of his brothers in svt. He is responsible, reliable, talented, passionate, loving, caring and intelligent.
What he said about stifling emotional differences just hit me hard. Coz it is true and it is deep.
It’s keeping the cool in the midst of an argument. It’s looking at criticisms, and fine tuning them to see the lesson. It’s managing our emotions. These things change the quality of our lives.

이번 영상과 어제 나왔던 스냅슛 뮤비를 보면서 민규를 생각하면 이렇게 모두를 소중히 여겼던 너의 모습이 거부당하고 모질었던 캐럿들과 대중들의 반응으로 스스로에게 많은 스트레스와 상처를 받았을 거라는 생각이 들어. 사실 나도 민규의 이번 소식을 계속 곱씹으면서 행동을 조심치 못했던 네가 조금은 밉다는 생각과 그럼에도 우리 민규도 '공인이기 이전에 나와 비슷한 또래의 20대 사람이고 당시엔 풀어져 가는 분위기 이후에 그 사건이 터졌을 뿐인데' 라는 생각이 공존했어. 그리고 이에 더해 코로나로 예민해져 있던 대중들의 시선은 너의 단편적인 부분을 보고 부풀어 오르며 쌓여가는 반응들에 나 또한 섬뜩함과 두려움이 느껴졌는데 당사자인 너는 얼마나 참담했을까.. 또, 이런 생각을 하고있던 나도 참 어리숙하게 당시에 냉정하게 상황판단을 하기보다 대중들의 반응에 감정이 동화되어 사고가 잠시 휩쓸린 것이 민규에게 미안하고 내가 스스로를 반성하고 고쳐 나갈 과제를 하나 더 받는 과정이었던 것 같아.

One of the things I like about Mingyu is how he arranges his speech when talking. The way his speech always going smooth and solid and shoot straight into your heart. He knows what he's talking about and knows the exact words to use when he spoke. I admire him for that. Love you Mingyu forever and always

I don't know why I don't find Mingyu as someone like a Love interest or something (please don't get me wrong). Instead I find him as someone I looked up to. Someone that inspires me to enjoy life and not be bothered by the goals that was made by the others for you. It's like he's kind of person that tells me that what I've been experiencing right now and the life I will be going to experience in the future is already a goal achieved and to be achieved. It's like succeeding one level of the game after the other. ♥

mingyu really is so much more than a pretty face. he’s pretty soft spoken about his thoughts but whatever he says just makes so much sense and is really well thought out. him thinking of this whole career as playing and fun, him constantly finding new hobbies as “rest”, giving him energy is a whole different perspective. this man

i was really interested for mingyu's episode because thinking back on it, he's never really talked about his thoughts and feelings in this way before ^^ it's been so nice to see how he's grown and matured since debut.

I just love this caring and lovely boy so much. He gives his everything to his members and carats, he always cares about people around him in a humble way, he has so much talent and wants to learn new things. I love Mingyu's mindset. The way he knows what he wants to do, the way he learns new things, I just admire him. As he said he's got a lot of hobbies and doesn't have a particular goal, honestly I think It's so interesting to see that. Him deciding to film a whole snapshoot mv, especially deciding to film Dino in the middle of the street was such a fun and interesting idea that wasn't planned. I think as a person he's got a laid-back personality, he's a chill person, but not lazy. Even if he finds things hard, he just changes the way he sees them, changes it into something positive and that's what I like about him, well it's one of the many things I like about him. He's confident in himself, he trusts himself and his members, addresses them as his family, it's so sweet to see that. Seventeen being supportive of each-other and adoring each-other is so admirable.
Also when he said that life's like a game I agree, I think he enjoys gaming, so i think he also enjoys life the same way.
민규의 긍정적한 마인드 가진 애가 주변에 있으면 너무 좋겠다. 민규 같은 애가 있으면 진짜 주변 사람들이도 마인드 좋아졌고, 그리고 뭔가 좋은 영향될수있어요. 나는 이편 볼때 그런 생각이 들어요. 아무래도 일할때 나한테 너무 일로 보니까 부담 많의 받고 그런것도 곧 스트레스 되요, 근데 민규 마인드 보고 “와 일은 긍정적으로 보면, 그리고 사랑하면 다 노는거다 그런 느낌 되고, 스트레스 덜 받을수있겠다”라는 생각이 들어요.

I adore Mingyu so much. He always knows what's best for him, and he doesn't let anyone else decide otherwise because he knows he's the one who controls his own emotions. He sees the best in everything (like in the video he says he thinks riding a plane or doing a concert isn't work since he's enjoying it after all), he's also always broadening his hobbies and interests to make every moment and every freetime they have, counts. Because it's useless after all, if you only have goals and you keep chasing it but you feel like it just keeps moving away from you. I think the best thing to do is not have a limited fixed goal, but rather do things that you enjoy right now and try improving at it before you move onto something else.
