@@TrackZoneCollection I did, you claimed "some GP2 parts" were used on the car but you didn't say anywhere in the video that it is a whole GP2 car... I'm not trying to be negative and take away from the fact you own a crazy fast race car, something I can only aspire to have, but I feel like what you're presenting in this video is you're trying to make it out to be a formula one car, when this car is just a GP2 car in a ferrari livery.

Are you sure that this is a F1 prototype car with F1 engine? The car looks and sound like GP2 car, all the sites about history of Dallara and about Ferrari F1 cars from 2006 and 2007 and their development didn't mention this car, when you searching the info about the car with the name from nameplate nothing appears about the car. Also, videos from the hillclimb races done by the previous owner states that the car is a Dallara GP2 chassis which was powered by it's original Mecachrome engine or by 3.0L Zytek engine. Can you really prove that this car is actually F1 prototype? Because I'm smelling BS. Regards.
Please tell me what GP2 car does rev up to 18k? 🙏
If I remeber, that car is an unused prototype. (Im not associated with this channel! Just a guy who saw it irl and talked to the owner)
@@Cartoscz I know that GP2 car don't rev to 18k rpm. But the car sounds legit like GP2 car. And the 2.4 V8 Ferrari F1 engine afromentioned in the video sounds differently than engine in the video. I also wrote to Dallara and HillclimbFans to clarify the story.
@@TheFryt666 Can’t hear a GP2 sound from this F1, but also it can be due to the modifications that were made to this car as a cheaper counterparts for hill climbs.
Yeah Dallara could confirm these informations, but many hill climbs fans doesn’t know that this is F1 car either.
@@TrackZoneCollection Well, I'm still not convinced. For me it's standard Second Generation gp2 car. I'll wait for the other replies. Regards.
@@TheFryt666 when you listen their story, nothing ads up. A 2006 prototype driven by Kimi¿? Yeah because we all know Ferrari would let a rival team driver to drive their car. Chasis developed by Dallara¿? Ferrari colaborated with Dallara in the development of the 2007 car which looks nothing alike.
The sponsors on the car make no sense if it's actually the 2007 f1 car

The F1 logo looks off as well since it doesn’t match the era of this car I’m pretty sure.

“Ferrari F1 Dallara 015 2006, V8 - 2.4L
For the 2006 F1 GP season, Ferrari had two monoposts made by Dallara at No. 014 and 015 and has been fitted with Ferrari's own 056 V8 2.4L 796 HP power unit at 18500 rpm and Ferrari's seven-speed sequential gearbox. Dallara eventually wanted to become an F1 chassis supplier again, as it had been in 1990, and therefore developed a new and more cost-effective platform for the Ferrari stable. Two pieces of monoposts were first produced, with Kimi Räikkönen tasked with testing at the Monza circuit in Italy for the 2006 season. Räikkönen was delighted with the new chassis, but due to a disagreement between ferrari management and Dallara, the contract with Dallara was ultimately not signed and so the chassis project was further used and, after minor modifications, introduced for the 2008 season in Formula Two (GP2), where it was used until 2010.”

It’s easy to dismiss things without digging deeper, like you did here. As I’ve mentioned before, Dallara and Ferrari collaborated on this F1 prototype before disagreements and strategic differences caused the project to halt. The car in the video is one of those prototypes, not some random GP2 car.
But hell, if you’d taken a closer look, you’d notice key details that confirm this. For example, the plate inside the cockpit clearly reads ‘GP F1 #015,’ and the engine is engraved with the Ferrari F1 badge.
So before jumping to conclusions, maybe take a moment to really check the facts. But whatever. People can’t seem to reach the end of their stupidity.

@@DoniyRacingThis is the F1 prototype developed by Dallara for Ferrari, powered by a Ferrari engine. All the details are covered in the video. After a disagreement between Ferrari management and Dallara, they halted F1 car production and downgraded the prototype in some way in 2008 to compete in GP2. The F1 model shown in the video features a GP2 front nose for better ground clearance during hill climbs and GP2 cooling for more affordable maintenance. Aside from these modifications, it’s the original GP F1 prototype from 2006.
@@TrackZoneCollection The engine is not Ferrari, it's a Mecachrome V8. I suggest you guys tone down your cockiness before receiving a cease and desist from Ferrari or a visit by Police.
Hey everyone, We noticed there’s still some confusion about whether this car is a GP2 or an F1, so let’s clear things up! 🚗💨
No one outside of Ferrari and Dallara knew much about this project until the disagreements between the two companies became public. Dallara had aimed to return as a chassis supplier for Formula 1, much like they did in the '90s, but things didn’t pan out as planned.
🔍Here’s the deal: This is definitely a Formula 1 car-and here’s why:
⚙Engine Power: The Dallara GP F1 Prototype is powered by a Ferrari 2.4L V8 engine. This beast produces 796 horsepower and revs up to 18,500 RPM. GP2 cars, on the other hand, use a 4.0L V8 engine with much less power, topping out around 612 horsepower. The difference in power and engine design is massive!
🏎Chassis and Design: Dallara, renowned for their expertise in crafting F1 chassis, designed this prototype specifically for Formula 1. While they do produce GP2 cars, the level of engineering and precision in this chassis is on a whole different level-tailored for the extreme demands of F1.
🔬Testing by F1 Drivers: This car was tested by none other than Kimi Räikkönen, a legendary Formula 1 driver, at Monza-one of the most iconic F1 circuits. Ferrari and Dallara were developing this car with the clear intention of competing in F1, not GP2.
⭐Unique Features: The car was fitted with cutting-edge F1 technology, including advanced aerodynamics and components that GP2 cars simply don't have. It was built to compete with the likes of Ferrari, McLaren, and Red Bull in the top tier of motorsport.
After the partnership fell through, Dallara sold one of the cars (Monopost #015) to David Hauser. Even Hauser’s team didn’t fully grasp what kind of machine they had on their hands. To them, it was a collection of TOP Tier mechanical parts that could help them achieve the best times in hill climbs.
Because this car never made it to a Grand Prix, it remained relatively unknown. Some of Hauser’s team didn’t really realize it’s an actual F1 car.
So, while it may have similarities with GP2 cars due to Dallara’s involvement in both categories, make no mistake-this is an F1 car through and through (Besides the nose and some small parts). It’s a rare prototype that never got the chance to race in a Grand Prix, but it’s a true piece of F1 history. 🏁
If you still dont believe us, believe at least Ferrari and Dallara, because the information we’re sharing comes straight from the handful of people who were directly involved in the project-Dallara, Ferrari, and key members of Hauser’s team.
So there is the clarifications, if you don’t like anything about this video you can always click on to the different one...
Just don’t spread any misinformations about vehicle that you don’t even own...
