    I don’t necessarily agree with removing a lot of the entourage. Having people on the render can give the viewer a better sense of scale as to how big or small the architectural space is.
    But everything else is really helpful!

      Thank you for your input ! In my opinion , removing the surroundings lets the building breath, but that might be just personal preference.

      @elhomo6406 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MelosAzemi I'm currently getting my BA in Architecture and my lecturers tend to encourage inhabitation in drawings and renders. I definitely do see the merit in not featuring them in some scenes however, I personally quite like using shilouettes of people with rendered shadows however I don't necessarily aim for photorealism with my renders

    • @kevaantaya3304
      @kevaantaya3304 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@elhomo6406 Yeah. That makes part of the atmosphere you create in the render. Giving a look at how people will interact with the building and how the spaces are used. But over-crowding with element is definitely bad. Just don’t overdo it

    Great tips! My only comment is that "Perspective" mode is 3-point perspective, not 1-point perspective. In traditional 1-point perspective, vertical elements are shown as vertical in the image and horizontal elements perpendicular to the view point are shown horizontally in the image. The lines that converge are those parallel to the view angle.
    The examples (2:50 2:52 2:53 ) all show three points of convergence: left, right, and top. This is particularly noticeable in the final example, where in the left image, the wall with three windows clearly has a vanishing point to the right, where the lines of the siding would converge; the wall with the door has its own vanishing point to the left, where the lines of that siding would converge, and a third vanishing point above the image where the lines of the corners of the building converge.
    Enscape's "2-point perspective" mode removes the third (top or bottom) vanishing point by forcing the view angle to be horizontal, and leaving the left and right vanishing points.
    That said, I really appreciate all the rendering tips. Thanks!

    Tbh, I prefer the more vegetation one, it gives more life to the subject from the perspective of people who's gonna view it, but it depends, if presenting it to a professional or instructors in college, less vegetation could also be better for presentation.

    Depends what you use it for - I use all the detail I can muster due to the images being used to sell our bids for contracts. The more our sites look ‘alive’ the more likely our clients will choose our designs. The reason being is we are not just showing a single building but a whole site full of various things

    5:16 version is the one I like best. The "de-populated" one doesn't look "lived in" or like an area (at least) I would want to live in; too barren, almost as if it's still a construction site. Maybe it depends on taste / what's culturally valued but imo a residential area without trees (especially trees -or at least /something/- that separate the houses from the streets) isn't a residential area.

    Darker contrastic renders in morning or evening always look better with more character. That said once you work in the industry you realize most clients want a bright fully lite image with sun at 11am or 13pm. Its flat and not very artistic but practical and thats what they end up choosing.
