学名: Chrysochroa fulgidissima
場所: 岐阜県多治見市
アベマキの木の切り口の割れ目や裂け目に、産卵管を伸ばして卵を産みつけていました。
綺麗なだけじゃないタマムシのリアルを見せられた気がしてドキドキしました。
They extended their ovipositors into the cracks and crevices of the cut surfaces of Japanese horse chestnut trees, laying their eggs.
Seeing the real side of jewel beetles, not just their beauty, made me feel excited and thrilled.
