    sir can we consider one more plane such that there is a line connecting the opposite points , we get a body-diagonal. like that we can get 3 lines of the 4 points as 2 are already opposite . Now we can take the point of intersaction af all these lines . This point will be equidistant from all the considered points , then can we say that the plane in which the point lies is the answer for the question ?

      That would be a solution that is already counted.
      In my opinion start to proceed this problem by taking a plane and then try to arrange 4 points around it so that all of these are equidistant from the plane . You would realise that there are only 2 possibilities
      1. 2 points on 1 side and 2 points on the other side
      2. 3 points on 1 side and 1 point on the other side.

    Another explanation can be like select any one point from 4 i.e, 4C1 and select any two point form 4 i.e, 4C2/2!= 3 (cause some pairs will make the same plane.) and 4C3 case will be as same as 4C1 hence, total ways: 4+3=7

      After having a glance at it, we can tell that it cannot be algebraically solved.
      By hit and trial we get a=2 and b=4
      Using this we can tell that the first eqn is a bi-quadratic and the 2nd eqn is a linear function.
      Since they are 2 different eqns of different degree, we cannot obtain an algebraic solution. Also the variables are present in the base and the exponential in both the terms which makes it even more complicated. From this we can conclude that hit and trial method is the only plausible method of solving such class of equations.

    The root of a quadratic equation 2x² - x + k = 0 are sinθ and cosθ. Find the value of k.

      Given 2x^2 -x +k= 0
      Sum of roots sin© + cos© = 1/2
      Squaring
      sin©}^2 + cos©^2 + 2sin©cos© = 1/4
      Rearranging: sin©cos© = -3/8
      Product of roots = k/2 = -3/8
      => k= -3/4
      Answer: k = -3/4

    Why we took a cube ?
    We can think of a tetrahedral and 4 points are the centroid of each face .
    Think of this possibility as all 4 points are non ciplanar
