The live version of Clyde Water, (the produced version included on Penguin Eggs, released 1980) is from Nic Jones' comp Unearthed, a collection of concert, club and studio performances recorded prior to 1982, released 2001. Superb guitar break and coda in his classic percussive style.

I love Penguin Eggs and remember the one time I saw Nic Jones, pre accident, many years ago. He was incredible.

This and the version from Game Set Match are some of Jones' best performances in my opinion. His voice is so forceful here. I always felt The Drowned Lovers was the weakest off of Penguin Eggs, but to hear it again in this rendition it is easily one of his best songs. Thank you for the upload, love from Canada.
