wow, what a great question. how much do you love yourself? It really got me thinking. I do love myself, actually everything about me. And it took me a looong time to get here. I have accepted that I don’t love myself equally every day. But what this question got me to realise was, that the days I love myself the least are always when I am not confident enough to be myself. I was bullied for years for being the “weird” kid and having “strange” hobbies and interests. So sometimes my brain just brings me back to all those years and I start thinking things again like “You can’t wear, say or do this thing. What would other people think of you if they saw you?” For years I was taught that I was strange and unacceptable, and I don’t like myself when I fall back into these old thought patterns, because it’s a lie I keep telling myself to appeal to people I don’t like.

Anna seeing your marathon training is soooo inspiring! Last year because I was studying hard for my last year of high school trying to get into medicine, I became unfit and didn’t exercise enough but seeing your journey has been SO inspiring. I just ran my longest distance yesterday, 18km, and my half marathon is in 3 weeks time. So excited! Thank you for sharing ❤ p.s. I love how you are fueling your body properly, I used to feel self conscious about second breakfasts but now you have made me feel so much better about eating lots of nourishing food so I can grow strong.
I started to like or I would say accept myself around 28 years old, there was one moment I couldn't handle the fact that I don't appreciate myself enough, always felt angry toward everything, and blame the bad results on everything instead I was the reason why everything went bad. I started to move my body, I did HIIT, I tried to breath through difficult movements, after countless out of breath and tried to keep my breath, I gradually found myself. It's ok to be not ok, there are rainy days and also sunny days, I am the best myself today, at this moment. Smile more and move more, it helped me to change my mind even aura! Self loving and caring are the most incredible thing ever! Hope you all the best day💗

Girl, you are amazing! I love your dedication and passion as well as you running a marathon! I have run several half marathons- my PR in a half marathon is a 1:58, which I am very proud of; Coming off of a competitve college career, I am no longer running in college, or am a student, which feels so weird not having to go back to college, but I am continuing up with my routine, and am hoping to run at least one race every year! Maybe someday I will do a marathon :)- I recently wrote a plan of life, as I am working in my first job post college and will be living at home with my parents and little brother because my first income will not be enough to supplement a cost of living on my own- I am starting off with a resource aide job in a preschool through eight grade Catholic school, which is where I graduated 8th grade from :)- this way I can work with all students and give them the support they need with their academics in a supportive and loving way that shows them they belong no matter their differences :); School officially starts on the 20th, so its still technically summer as I only have to attend meetings in the mornings for professional development, which has been very enjoyable and interesting- I love journaling and starting my day in prayer every morning outside, as well as starting every morning with an early run- I am running an college alumni 5K on the 24th of August and am hoping for 22 minutes!
I know no one asked but I find that time in my Bible and praying helps me have such a balanced and peaceful life and mindset. Especially when things don’t go as planned it helps!🩷much love Anna your videos are so inspiring and you make healthy food look fun

Hi Anna, since i was a little girl my dad usually stir fry tofu with sprout just using garlic soya sauce and some seasoning powder .. its so delicious.. you can also spice it up with tomatoes if you have or some slice chicken .. try it.. hope it gives you some ideas.. i actually now cooking it for my son and he loves it too ❤❤

How much do I like myself? It really depends and it has changed a lot during the last 4 1/2 years. I experienced an emergency back surgery that resulted in a spinal cord injury. Since then I have been in a wheelchair and dependent on assistance. Before the surgery I was physically very fit and did lots of sports. I still miss being able to move pain free. My body also has changed a lot. So it has been an intense journey to find my way back and to learn to love myself again with a completely different background. What really helps me is to have compassion with myself - and with others.

How much do I like myself? It really depends and it has changed a lot during the last 4 1/2 years. I experienced an emergency back surgery that resulted in a spinal cord injury. Since then I have been in a wheelchair and dependent on assistance. Before the surgery I was physically very fit and did lots of sports. I still miss being able to move pain free. My body also has changed a lot. So it has been an intense journey to find my way back and to learn to love myself again with a completely different background. What really helps me is to have compassion with myself - and with others.
