Actually that isnt the story, that is actually VERY INCORRECT. The story goes like this. Midas was born into a rich, and royal family, But he wasnt happy. He wanted more, he made a deal with a witch. The witch gave him the power to make anything he touchs into gold. That means including people, but he died mysteriously from his power- (Just a fun little add on) People say the power was a curse, the witch was getting revenge because she got kicked out of the village. And others say it was due to starvation because if he touched the food he would turn it into gold and it would be solid. But yeah, sorry for the confusion and dont take this as a hate comment its just a correction to the comment.
