Hendrix fan since the 1960's - with a jazzy pre-intro that was long, but with such mastery and Hendrix-like feel, worth every minute - bravo, amazing, I shall sleep well tonight.
Just as we’re seeing the previous best Hendrix cover Randy Hansen come to retirement from the stage as a living, Jimi keeps the rainbow shining through a new master. Slovenia should be proud.
I accidentally started listening to this as I am sick of someone trying to play Hendrix. But, but, but, since the first tone I was just, wait I have to listen to this. Man, you nailed it... this is probably one of the best covers of Hendrix I’ve heard. The tone is definitely there, but more so energy man... you’ve got it, it’s crazy. Keep it up
@@ariicotter Yes, of course we are sick of it, most of people playing Hendrix are just imitating without any life but I have to admit that this guitarist has something that make his guitar playing very pleasant
Julijan would be my pick for opening act at the 1969 Woodstock concert and Hendrix ending act with national anthem. It couldn’t be no better than that .
How Amazing is it that in an era where it's all about pop music and rap and guys with six packs dancing on stage . We still have musicians who want to play Hendrix songs after all these years ✌️✌️🤘🤘👍👍👏👏
Damn. Where did this come from all the sudden? I'm strickly SRV and Hendrix on this song. Still haven't fully bought into the popular Gary Moore version. I've heard them all. This dude is impressive. Need to hear it another 40 times before I make decision. But first time hearing it, very impressed.
I've loved Hendrix since the first time I heard him on the radio (Purple Haze?). I was 14 then. I couldn't get enough of him. So many made a living off his sound: Robin Trower, Mahogany Rush, SRV, Randy Hansen, etc. But the guy in this video really nails it. Jimi would be proud!
More Successful in the works !? At the my surprise. Your band is a great ! Good luck and much more Woodstock and Fillmore east festival and Jam session !!!
I’m listening to Eric’s cover of voodoo child for the umptienth time and still blown apart. Which is his intention: he is completely into Jimi’s music (throwing in a couple of stage tricks) but it’s the development of a new music genre we hear here. JH sucked in every pop music of his day (even surf music), did a mix made with many new tricks that would become the explosion we hear now. Eric
That is fantastic Eric. I may have commented before but this deserves more comments. What amps are you using? They sound amazing. You've got the Hendrix vibe and energy down. The Hendrix family should ask you to tour. You should definitely join the Experience Hendrix Tour in the USA.
I don't think anyone has come so close as this. You understand his technic perfectly well, you never give a string rest, you constanly give it something, no clean bends but subtle accents also. So very impressing! Now, if i may make a suggestion nevertheless, maybe you could extend the longer, sustained notes; in may opininion they are slightly hastily. And further i wonder, lefthanded, or do you think the right hand has something extra to offer?
This guy came up on my TH-cam and now I’m binge’n all his videos , I’m a big Hendrix fan so ihere is what I think . I believe he’s better than Hendrix, I’ve never said that about anybody.
You have unlimited talent. The proof is that you guys can mimic The Experience so well. Even Hendrix can't play Hendrix as good as you. Of you can skip me, but my personal opinion is to try write your own songs. You are too good be a cover band.
Normally a man with three first names wouldnt impress me.But this awesome jammer wearing tiggs like little Richard inwhich jimi copied...does know how to tear up a strat.
Great rendition! if I were to make a suggestion, his band mates need to spruce up a little bit so they fit the part - it would add to the professionalism. Tennis shoes, sweet pants and stocking cap don't cut it. They sound amazing, but a little more fashion sense and they might be STARS.
@@julijaneric6470 hey Julian thanks alot. Yes have heard of that pedal! You realy nail the original sound and its your incredible playing does the job! Thanks alot! Hope we can ever see you play in Holland! Greetings Peer

Hansen's stop playing live?
@@philkd1740 No , i'll see him next month.
been a hendrix fan for 40 years....best cover!!
For sure you are one of the best out there to cover Hendrix's song like this, master in both the way as a guitarist and stage performer. So smooth.
@@reedgabriel2875 many thanks!
Amazing talent - this is the best Voodoo Child cover on TH-cam.
tnx a lot! :)
No, Randy Hanson is superior .... by far.
Pretty good also Randy's version is amazing

Couldn’t agree more 🫡✌🏼
It’s good, but their originals are probably garbage and playing covers pays bills for cos play rock n rollers.

Man, the guitarist should be playing stadiums. Better than SRV and dare I say it, plays it as good as Hendrix.
Great, randy may have to pass it on
Why the fuck does this only have 414 thumbs up? This tone and the performance overall is outstanding!!!

Man this is like pure hendrix live performance style. Not only the tone !
The drummer feels as loose as Mitch Mitchell himself. Very nice
❤️
When the hell are you playing in lreland cause i want to knock the dust of me air guitar🎸
He plays that guitar, like she is owning him money, awesome 😁
Мне сегодня исполнилось 69 лет,очень рад ,что в ряду с нами стоит молодеж,спасибо Вам.
For me, this is better than randy Hansen's tribute. The authenticity here is insanely good

Wow, it's like the spirit of Hendrix has entered into his body.
I'm pleased to see you said Chile, not Child.
