My freshmen year I had a crush on this one goth/emo girl who said this was one of her favorite bands so my dad literally bought this album on ITunes and forced me to listen to it

I was jamming vermillion part 2 on my acoustic this morning lol. Good video Fabio. I love Slipknot and their aggression, but vermillion part 1 and 2, and dead memories and snuff which is on the next album All Hope is gone are actually my favorite Slipknot songs, and they have no screaming at all

The way I explain their first 4 records. The self titled is the most psychotic record. Iowa is the most intense and viscous, vol 3 is their most musically mature album, and all hope is gone is their most accessible records in terms of how it appeals to people outside of extreme music. After those 4 records, that was the last time we had Slipknot as we knew them
