I came across your channel as a newbee and I am gearing up for my very first year. I am beyond excited to start and am trying to gather up as much information as I can before my bees arrive. At 8:06 you say “this is not normal and we’ll have to do something about this” wrt the offset comb. Is there a subsequent video showing what you did about it? This is GREAT! I appreciate the work y’all are doing to show us how!

Just found this video series because I was hunting down an easy to learn way to do my first hive inspection. Could not have found a better set of videos. I have been nervous about what I was supposed to be doing but honestly Cora and her lovely demeanour and questions makes me feel a lot more confident and I appreciate the way you guided her through the inspection in such a clear way. This is awesome.
Thanks to you and Cora now know all the mistakes I made on my first inspection and what to do to correct them. I am also limited to the amount of local information I have at my disposal. Thank you very much for the videos, and please keep them coming. I need the help

You can do it! Sure, there's always the possibility of making a mistake, but as long as you're truly trying your best to care for the bees, I think your intuition will kick in and it'll be great! Don't worry about messing up the install. You got this!
@@CentralBeekeepersSupply when I installed them the frames had wax buildup on the edges of the frames and I didn’t know to scrape them clean so after I put them in the 9th frame was super tight. I’m using frame feeders

newbie, my first year, so I have a question. if the feeder was empty, why did you leave it in the box empty and why not add liquid to the feeder?
We came back to that later an filled it.
