back when i didn't know abt bts yet, i saw this picture of a man tying his shoelaces without bending his knee and as someone who's not flexible, i was shocked, and then months later, i realized that it was jimin lmfao.
He has chosen to emphasize his lower body strength and what he can do by not overly building up his upper body, if his upper body was bigger he'd have trouble with those flipping skills. He is such a stunningly impressive dancer.

Jimin often has such delicate movements that you don't realise the core strength he needs to perform many of them. It might surprise you to know that Jin also has amazing core strength although he can't do a lot of the stuff Jimin can. J-Hope must have great trust in him to let him do that flip over him. The skit where J-Hope is dressed as a mum and JImin is a dog is from House of Army which is hilarious. If you have followed BTS for a while you will get the references in it. The aerial spin he does where his hat comes off is from the mv for Just One Day.

Jimin was actually the most ‘buff’ in the early years - not even JK came close - but he was criticized and made fun of for looking overweight (F**ked up I know!) and that sent him on a tailspin of body dysmorphia and scary weight loss - something he still struggles with today! People are freakin evil…even some Army!!!! If he loses weight, he’s too skinny and if he gains weight, he’s too fat! We really do NEED an ‘Army cleansing’…for various reasons!

He can actually do more pull ups not only three times like even in the soop he did three times like Jimin can do more but he isn't serious when working out when on camera like when he exercises off camera like in his own time he can do more like he acts weak aspecially in games he doesn't try to win he wants to make others laugh and he wants to have fun but he sometimes will be competitive when he wants to be and he will win. Jimin can jump so high but still asks jk for help to pick him up to reach the pull up bar like Jimin can reach it on his own.

Speaking as an exdancer, some of us are built more limber. I don’t know if the tendons and muscles are a little longer or a little more giving. I have never had core strength anywhere close, but lying on my legs, easy. Whether it has to do with stretching when you are fairly young, possibly.
