She had her hair long for most the show. Even at its shortest they didn’t make her look masculine or aggressive. In fact after she came out she started gradually wearing more feminine clothing. And plenty of straight women characters get haircuts that are shorter and more masculine
@@mrs.847 aggressive how? Her mother is pretty aggressive too. Bianca also called herself a girly girl. I’m paraphrasing bc I don’t remember the exact quote but she said something about being a total girl down to her painted finger nails or something like that. They were not making the character a stereotype. Eden has said she talked about Bianca with her sister, who is gay to get feedback about not making the character to stereotypical, that’s not to say you can’t disagree, but I just don’t see it.
@@Catra_L I saw pictures of Eden's sister and she looked plain like a stereotypical gay woman so it surprised me that the show made Bianca look as pretty and made up as she was. I guess Eden added her own idea of what Bianca would look like as a lesbian.
She went back to Boston with her Mother and to get out of her marriage to Ian. She knew her mother loved her and Bianca wished her well but never went to visit her in Boston again.

I know it's petty but I'll always be upset they cut Bianca hair. Giving her the more aggressive and masculine look just was so typecasting!!
