Honestly, in comp I play smokes (Omen/Viper) but if I were to play sentinel it just depends on who I frag harder with.
I like KJ for locking down 1 area. But I like cypher for the ability to cover multiple areas of the map and still be able to leave site with my utility up.

The cage one way is the only thing that makes sense. The trips don't stop people from shooting at you once they pass the trip and the first trip is too close to wall and weirdly angled, it won't trip anyone unless they hug the wall.
Bro what? You're iron. The first trip is for default plant, the first cage means he can see them if they pass through but not him. The second trip lets him know if they're there and he doesn't need to cover it otherwise which means he can focus on one angle. It all makes sense
@@alfieingleton okay, use your brain... the first trip on default.... nobody plants default. If they do, they're iron/bronze. But since the enemy usually plants on the borderline on the outside. As for the second trip spot, I recommend a trip pushed further in Hall... that way, they don't have any cover to fall back into and is now a kill-trip instead of it just being used for info. But I dont expect you to know all this, since you're still new to this game
If you use that camera don’t open it before they’re on site otherwise it gets spotted and shot. I get that it will confirm there are peole B if someone peeks and shoots it but If u just want to know if they’re pushing the camera placement doesn’t matter just place it anywhere. A better camera in my opinion would be on the red roof of the building where you would place the trip. If you stand on the tall spot you can get it by standing on the elevated platform. You get the samw overview of site but the chances of it getting shot are a lot smaller. Instead of the trip at default i would consider placing one mid. If you’re gonna commit a smoke to mid a trip is a good idea too so you get the right timing to pop the oneway. You should have a teammate holding B near the end of the lane in an ideal situation but we’re talking about random q teammates don’t rely on them. If you do have the teammate mid however i would have the trap be in the spot between you and the uplifted platform. You can play around this smoke better it gives you the opportunity to run up to heaven (i think thats the name idk the comms of pearl) or play around it by swinging on the other side of it. Great to reposition from the angle you’re holding.

They have 2 controler plus they plant on the back site to play line up and controling site from main :)
I think playing mid has great value on Cypher like I just trip mid cause it's annoying for them to come through, then hold a site with your camera prevents the enemy from collapsing without you knowledge

Honestly theres a much easier to do 1 way but this 1 way covers more of the hallway but in reality your still gonna shoot the crap out of them in either of the smoke.
Just go up on the second floor on b and look at a corver of the wall and throw a smoke there. Its hard to describe but just look from the 2nd floor where he threw his smoke.

I did almost the same thing, then yoru teleported behind me or used rift travel, then headshot. But cypher is still usefull against yoru with his camera.

I would line to have the 1 way for default plant and another cage for the tripwire in the corner instead
If you have absolutely no infor in mid then just give up holding site alone and playing retake set up
Or if you solo site then at least have 1 cage to back safely because that spot is stuck for the cypher
Its a good setup but honestly cypher is not so great at such a large site since the trapwires are quite hard to place well. Mostly cypher is just as good as breach there on slowing them down
But before doing this in the start up screen, make sure to pick any other agent
The camera is going to give them VietNam flashback
This makes me want to play sentinel again after switching to controller.

Bad wires.
-1st trip can sometimes miss.
-2nd trip can be easily taken out if there was a raze nade, kayo moli, etc.
Better wire is from the roof that goes 75° or the same roof tile but at a 40°
Or a wire from the screen.
1st cage, no need for a line up, just throw it at the side and let it bounce.
Edit: forgot to add this - 2nd cage place it in the middle so you can peak and fight from the small gaps.
Camera, bad cam. No doubt. Not a good setup if you want to play from that position...
Also never saw a radiant use these LMAO.

It’s called a radiant setup because only radiants are sick enough to get to site, buy, and set that up in 30 seconds
