Ingrid is mimicking her to the point that it's making me uncomfortable. (when she started dating Chris, her most recent ex, she suddenly was all for fitness/outdoor sports/working out. When she dated Luke, she was all "I'm a nerd" wearing cutesy hoodies and not washing her hair.) No one knows the real Ingrid I am guessing. Honestly, it's hard to take her seriously at this point. Doesn't it get exhausting, Ingrid? Changing personalities with the season?

I feel you're both making an unnecessarily harsh attack. Ingrid is being 'herself' - whilst trying on a lot of different things for size. And why shouldn't she experiment? She's instantly recognisable as herself throughout. She's also young and has recently been open about tussling with her identity - and I'm fairly sure she must've found that pretty exhausting. I'm not even a massive fan - I think I'm a bit too old and find her exuberance rather wearing, but terribly cute and personable. Personally I often find myself picking up habits and expressions and even hobbies from my close acquaintances/friends/lovers/housemates. It'd be cool to a bit more open minded and think about the purpose of your comment and not try and box people in. People grow and change constantly, under many influences.

I think it's because now that she has more subscribers she has to provide content.A lot of youtubers especially popular beauty gurus do come out with a lot of videos like diys and hauls but they lack content.In order to come out with something we like she has to plan things out so it does not lack creativity and it's relatable.I mean if you were making a video for 2-3 million people wouldn't you plan it out so people like it?I think it's great that she cares about us so much

Ingrid/Commenters! I need your help / advice! Ingrid's skin is so incredibly flawless, and I know she's suffered with acne, hyperpigmentation, scars etc in the past - I just wanted to know what she used to get rid of it so quickly? I've been suffering for almost 7 years now, nothing I've tried has worked! I've had multiple prescriptions from various doctors and tried natural/shop bought remedies 😞 Thumbs up so she can see please! 💜🍩
From what I can tell Ingrid doesn't seem to have a very consistent skincare routine. She always just showcases what she got in her ipsy bag. I know how you feel though. I've been struggling with acne for a really long time and I've finally got it under control. The most important piece of advice I can give you is to use products for at least 2 months so you can give the products enough time to make a difference. 4 things that have made the biggest difference for me are: 1. A leave on BHA exfoliant. These are necessary because they are the only thing that can penetrate into the pore and help unclog them. At first my skin got worse and I broke out because everything was coming out, but now my pores are a lot smaller. 2. A 5% benzol peroxide spot treatment. This works to disinfect your blemish and kills the bacteria that causes acne. Just know that you should wait for it to dry completely before you put anything else on because it won't be effective otherwise. 3. Sunscreen. I know it may seem repetitive, but the red discolorations that you get after a pimple will go away much faster if you protect your skin from the sun. Just make sure it isn't too creamy. 4. A retinol serum. Retinol is just a really good ingredient for making skin behave normally. The products I use are from Paula's Choice, but you can use whichever ones you want. I'd recommend checking out their website or TH-cam channel for more information (even if you're not interested in them as a brand). Hope that helps.
Jo Deacon She's talked about it in a few of her videos but it's never been laid out all in one, so here it is to my knowledge! To get rid of acne, she used the second step in the Proactiv skin care system, I believe it's called the pore targeting something (she talks about it at length in her July Favorites 2014 video). To get rid of hyperpigmentation, she's used some of the Kiehl's products, including the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Serum and the Dark Spot Corrector. All of those products together helped her tackle the majority of her skin issues, and from there she just uses products to maintain/balance her skin. She still uses the Proactiv product that she talks about in her July Favorites 2014 video to do spot treatments and keep the acne at bay so she can just work on clearing hyperpigmentation, and now her skin is mostly clear and balanced!
Jo Deacon I can't speak to what Ingrid used, but Paula's Choice products have saved my skin. Six months ago I was struggling with bad acne and lots of acne scars, now I barely even have to wear makeup. Definitely worth trying :)
If your breakouts are hormonal/stress caused like mine were you could try spironolactone which is a more unusual prescription to be used for acne but within 3 months it really made a difference in my skin
