This is how these trucks 🛻 should have been built, not that silly " Torsion Bar " garbage! This one came out perfect, Great work, you can barely tell its a S.A.Swap, looks stock, you guys never disappoint !
Hey Trevor need another WFO shop here on the east coast like the Virginia North Carolina border somewhere, there's plenty of guys with Chevy/GMC trucks that would love an S.A.S. currently I'm the only one around with the sas and get asked all the time where did I get the swap done at and I tell them in my driveway 🤙🏿👍🏿
I am surprised you were able to get 37's under a 4in lift. Here I am doing a sas on 2002 with about 10in lift and 40's. Afraid mine will still rub. Moved the front axle forward 1.5in and cut about 4in off the front bumper
Planned on having you all do a leaf SAS (like the burb you did) on a 03 hd1500 quadrasteer I had but never did! And sold it :( Always enjoy seeing your work!!! Definitely a cut above the rest!!
If I can ask, how much is the height difference compared to a Sierra on a Stock trac bar IFS? I know it's a 3" kit but it just looked a tad taller and an itch had me curious lol
You know, I always wonder why more people don't do a S.A.Swap on their Rig , they'll spend nowadays an upward of 200k on a brand new Jeep Gladiator with a short bed and crazy wheelbase but they'll say " I always wanted to solid axle swap my truck 🛻 but it's to expensive " I just spent a bit to much on my 03 Tacoma S.A.Swap but it was worth every penny, especially the fact that it's pretty much the only one here in long Island NY, I've only found one other S.A.Swap Toyota 4Runner on the island, but there has to be 3.5 million jeeps around here, I love jeeps too, but enough is enough! People it's time to be different and original! I see the same shyt over and over again, especially here in the land of the " Mall Crawlers " and another thing is the Jeep thing is quite separatist, WTF is up with " Jeep Only " events? I can understand the Jamboree, but the other events that actually require a Jeep Vin to attend, WTF? They've become " Jeep Nazi's " So seriously people, let's start seeing some diversity in our rigs , I'm a jeep guy , I'm even stuck with the name "Frank Rubicon" even though I have a Toyota with a jeep axle, keep it up and more jeep parts will end up on my Toyota 😆 I do have a complete XJ sitting out there with a great 4.0 in it ! Oh how I wish I had the money to build another 4.6 stroker and put it in the Taco 🌮 and piss off the entire World 🌎 Dare to be different these days or be just like the guy next to you ( Sheeple ) it's a free country! The TJs the last Real Jeep anyway, I barely even see TJs and YJs anymore! Just brand new high dollar jeeps with so many accessories they look like they'll tip over! Follow your dreams, not other people, my late father would always tell me "Be a leader, Not a Follower"
@@tobymathews5793 Honesty that's not to bad. Much rather do this than buy a new truck... I got an 07 LBZ Dually with fairly low miles, but 2wd. They say this kit works on 2wd trucks aside from 4lo causes issues with trans. Should be able to remedy that with EFI Live. They say that haven't done it on a 2wd yet, but he'll I'd let them swap my truck when the time comes...
Can you do that but with a half ton? What does a job like this cost parts and labor? I'd like to retire and send you my 99 Silverado or, buy a half ton 4 dr version of the Duramax on this video (I dont want a diesel) and send it to you from AZ to have you work your magic on it, in lieu of buying a brand new overpriced truck that I will probably be too scared to scratch up and use. I wanna be able to use my truck daily but have some good upgraded componenents on it. Thanks for the videos.
My old man just spent around 20k on suspension linking and stretching out his cj7. Im just curious what wfo charges for set ups like this which I know aren't cheap.
@@juice-gotcha833 Ya your in the ball park. It varies so much depending on your setup and any add on's. Our shop rate $135hr and our kits on average take 40hrs for install.
How long did it take for them to complete the job brother? And you don’t need to give an exact amount but are we talking more or less than 10k if you don’t mind sharing.
@@amorton94 there kit and parts are $3500 for the kit and $1800 to $2500 for the ford axle. If you bring your own axle it’s cheaper. So with labor cost and kit about $5000. If you need a axle and kit and labor $7500 to $8000. Also need the king shocks. They are not cheap.
It cost me about 20k with wheels and tires. Bought my axle off eBay and rebuilt it myself and upgraded to the better breaks when doing it too. Plus better tie rod and hubs

I like the look, and love that it’s done right. Powerstop brakes, functioning abs, awesome.
Wish I had the funds to do this to my 06 CCLB.
Wow that's the perfect stance, it looks amazing
Great video, very well done build!

How do you slap a part on? Where I come from we install all of our parts. 🤔
What is needed besides the kit for an 03 Silverado?
Do you all have z solid axel swap kit for a 2005 H2 Hummer?
Thanks

Are you sitting down or standing up when I tell you the price??

Just get rid of the washer bottle. Those things are worthless anyway. Just treat your windshield with Rain X & youll be good.
$5000 on a $2500 truck
