England chants sometimes cross the line, but to understand them best you need to understand English culture, the chants are generally good natured, the more we take the pics out of someone generally means we like them. Public transport isn’t big here so instead of having a lot of team spirit on your way to the game through that, we have our own way where a lot of supporters meet up at a park near the stadium and have a sort of parade on the way to the game. The idea was to create more of a game day experience

In the U.S there are different types of supporters groups, in places like houston, austin and chicago there barra brava style groups which are not as cringey as the fans shown in the video. They actually create a really cool atmosphere, this video takes the worst possible fanbases and puts them alongside support from english clubs
As an American soccer fan and former youth coach, it's a lot different out here. Parking sucks, so most games don't get full until half time. Any chant that can be taken in anyway offensive will get banned. The major cities have way too many plastic fans, that are there for ig photos but don't actually want to get into the game/atmosphere. A better comparison would be UK football chants and US college football chants.

As an American soccer fan and former youth coach, it's a lot different out here. Parking sucks, so most games don't get full until half time. Any chant that can be taken in anyway offensive will get banned. The major cities have way too many plastic fans, that are there for ig photos but don't actually want to get into the game/atmosphere. A better comparison would be UK football chants and US college football chants.
I’m American but our chants are awful wtf, the English ones are classic
UK chants are based around knowledge of the sport and shithousery. American chants appear to be about BBQ and the week.
