i dont understand this jogweels and i look forward buying it.. can you please explain me.. if i move them from side it acts like the jog wheel on cdj, in other words it speeds and slows the track, but if i used the jog wheel from the top it acts like vinyl.. Am i right?? Please explain nice vid btw:)
good video thanks.. quick question - would u or anybody reading recommend this controller with traktor, or is it mainly designed just for the torq software? im very organised with traktor, been using it for years, wouldnt really like to change now. i assume many features would be lost if i used it with another software.. ? thanks
@admooner Not sure. Don't use anythoing but DRM Free music. Sorry but f*ck iTunes. and any music that has any regulatory restrictions. Hopefully someone else can answer.
Awesome really helpfull, I have a question.... are u using a 32bit vista laptop? or 64bit? reason i ask is because i have a 64bit asus and after playing for like 30 mins on the xponent my sound out the master dies... but it doesnt do it with the connectiv and the cdjs... I'm freakin out, ppl tells me its the 64bit OS n stuff but i downloaded the ;atest drivers from m-audio and still does it... help please anyone???? THX
yes omg im so stupid im gogin to remap my torq now for the effects there qwas no more buttons left to mapp so i mapped them with my cue point i forgott ther plus minus button under the scrach deck im gogin to do it now :) tnax bro i have turn into a pro now as you remember me 4 mpnth ago i told you about im buying the x so good im using it always great tool

really informative video. was thinking of getting one of these, couple of questions though. can you assign any effect to the touch pad because in all the demonstrations people only assign it to the filter, also is there a way of turning off the flashing LEDs behind the buttons becuase they would be really annoying mixing drum and bass or anything faster than house! thanks
His laptop is probably fine. Those are most likely shielded speakers, and even if they aren't it is an LCD screen, not a CRT monitor, and won't be affected. The hard drive would probably have to be touching the magnet on the back of the driver in the speaker to affect it. Cool controller, but check out the Attigo.
@admooner Yeah I've used some tracks I bought through iTunes with the software. I'm pretty sure they were protected. But I wouldn't suggest using tracks from iTunes because they come in pretty low fidelity (128kbps-256kbps). Buy off beatport instead :)

thats a good way to fry your computer havening it next to those speakers the magnetics could easily wipe your hard drive or mess up your monitor
my friend your mixing was all over the road.......when you mix you should be using a bar system...16/32 and mix on the one not the two
