We had a tv like that. We use to use it in the car on our drives to Florida. We would bungee cord it to a bucket seat in the van. Then it would be in our kitchen to watch Y&R at dinner time. Best childhood memories deciding which Disney movies to bring to watch on our wait to Florida

For gift organizing: I use a half sheet of paper (vertical) and write each person’s name with space between each. Then I start adding ideas and put a checkmark and the price after I actually buy things. Been doing it for years - simple but helpful!
The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie of all time. I'm so happy that my 2 year old son also loves to watch it with me and sing along. It melts my heart every time he asks me to sing the mermaid song to him. I got all teary eyed watching you and Gigi playing the piano together and when she was playing it all by herself. Such a wonderful moment 🥲
Loved this video! I was watching while I, too, was making soup. Can't wait to try Tyler's recipe! Dragon Tales was MY JAM. I had talking stuffies of each of the dragons and would do full-on reenactments while I watched the episodes. I fondly recall my dad revising the theme song to "Dragon Tales, Dragon Tales, pick your nose and set your sails!" Also, Tyler's early morning eighth grade PBS ritual was all too relatable. For me, it was 6:00 AM Arthur EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. from 8th grade all throughout high school. This Vlogmas episode warmed my inner child heart. Thanks for the cozies!

We use Trello to organize our gift buying. We create boards for what to buy, purchased and wrapped. Each person gets a card on the starting board and we move the card to the appropriate board. We love to write what we buy each person in the notes of that person’s card.
I have a holiday control journal. I keep my addresses for Christmas in it and the lists of people to buy gifts for. I keep a list of what to buy and check it when it’s purchased or made (if homemade) or delivered and then when it’s wrapped. Then I can refer to it the next year because it’s hard to remember what you do year to year. I also keep receipts in it and recipes and the meal plan for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve and day. This takes a huge load off my mind and elevates a lot of stress. I learned this from The Fly Lady. Highly recommend her channel and books.
