Gold-green-blue iridescents (Lux, Proteus, Light Year, Parallax, etc.) are insanely versatile - you can dupe the TM Cosmic Collision/Clionadh Niello family over a purple base, the SBSD Unexplainable/TM Antares family over a pink base, TM Galactic Blossom over a peach base, Clionadh Bloodline over a red base, etc. And then there's all the possible individual variation depending on the exact tone of matte you're using. Like @seekingshifts' demonstration of how a rainbow's worth of Clionadh shades have the same shifts as Lux, it really shows off how a lot of multichrome shade variety is the product of iridescent color theory. Thanks for making this incredibly comprehensive video!

Which combo surprised you the most and which is your new favourite?
A lot more labs are starting to get newer spectroscopes, with built-in algorithms to very accurately predict outcomes of speciality pigments mixed with matte base pigments. So much interesting technological advances being made more accessible recently.

I love this! I just wish it had been before the Clionadh sale lol. I didn’t know what to pick so I didn’t get anything. I’d also be interested to see iridescents layered over gray or a muted base since this MCs are becoming more popular.

This is so helpful!! I love the look, but never ever buy duo/multi chromes intentionally. However, they come in many palettes & I want to use them. My eyes are completely shaded, between my glasses & face structure, there just isn't enough light hitting my lids to get any kind of shift, BUT I can at least have fun with them & I have just started experimenting with layering so I can get some use out of these gorgeous shadows.

I cannot IMAGINE how much work this took. 😰 Out here doing the Lord's work!
For future reference, I have found that cream shadows wash off very well with Dawn. Apply it to dry skin first, rub, then wet, lather, and rinse.
This is how I'm able to do swatches on primer so much without flaying my arm too haha
