I’m 2 years in Sis. Before loc’n I found Castor Oil to be a magnet for lint. I haven’t used it since having my locs. Try Grapeseed in substitution for castor and see if that helps. ❤
I do a mix of Castor, grape seed, hemp, rose hip and almond combined and use regularly. But lately I've been using 1/4 cup aloe gel, 1/2 cup water and add a bit of the oil mixture then add it to a spray bottle and spritz daily am.
I like the video before it even starts cus I love all your content and your locs have flourished so much since I’ve been watching your journey I like the versatile style videos with the wigs but but the loc videos are my fave they always eat especially since I’m a loc girly myself I can relate better to those videos
Just wanted to say that your videos have made me feel way more confident/comfortable about my thinner edges in the front. You always style them in an effortless and chic manner, so this is another look that I will be trying!
Beautiful!! This is actually so helpful because I’ve tried using my clip so many times with no luck but that makes so much sense to fold it up and put the thicker portions of my locs towards the bottom of the bun! Thank you for this!
I wear my locs in a headwrap at work. well most of the time even on a daily. I leave it out some days to breath and moisturize and if I am wearing a braid out or twist out but I still keep a head wrap close 😅
I’ll give my 2 cents. I’ve always had issues with lint even as a kid with blue magic hair grease in my hair. I’m still on my first set of locs but I barely got through the first 6 months without combing them out because I had so much lint. I switched to interlocking, I don’t use gels anymore, and now my hair doesn’t attract much new lint. I still use castor oil but it’s much better
This looks so good on you! Great idea. My hair is almost shoulder length and I have to wear polos everyday and my locs are always tucked in my collar and it annoys me.. so I definitely need to figure something out.
Stunning. Sticky stuff on your locs will attract everything to stick to your locs, even buildup.

Thank you! Castor oil helped grow back my edges so I think that’s why I’m so hooked to it 😭 but it may be time to let it go.

Pretty. Would you change your loc count if you were to start over? Going back and forth on more or less locs.

You make me want an undercut so bad 😫😫😫 but I’m worried about the maintenance
I love 😍 this! Thank you ❤
🤍🤍🤍
I love this. Unfortunately I have very thick hair so no way I can clip my sister locks.
It’s a blessing to be able to say that!
@@daelocs but sometimes I want to do some styles but I end up just leaving them alone or making a ponytail with a lot of effort
Hey birthday twin!!!! How are you doing? Coloring my locs today so I can get it done before the 1st.
Omgggg should I color like 😭 I keep going back and forth!! Enjoyyyy
I am getting a few silver strands so it's hard for me to tell lint vs silver.... but I get hair headaches so I don't put my hair in styles alot
Off topic but your side profile to me looks like Arï Lenox
Yesssss because I'm 2 years loc'd and I'm bout ready to ✂️✂️ because they're so damned dry!! 🙄
I’m 6 months and have the same problem. I plan to give it another year then cut them off and go back to free hair.
oils and gels attract lint
I wish her locs were fuller
Not the size
It looks like spaces in the front
But maybe that’s her natural density 😮
@@TheVanna220 yea I have thin hair in general. Always have. Locs were the healthiest choice for me.
I don't think that's a great thing to say to someone hey
