Can we appreciate how Jake is carrying this interview or even on their other English interviews? I know he's supposed to lead 'cause he speaks in English but the maturity and confidence of how he answers are commendable. I mean he's not there to answer like reading a script but you can really see how he wants to convey the feelings or wants us to understand the way things are (you know what I'm sayin'? 😅). Also, I've been noticing it in their interviews, even in non-English, he's the most engaging like he knows how to make the conversation going. I don't know, I just really find him charismatic during their interviews.
I agree with you. I want to say how charismatic and very well spoken and articulate he is. It’s very refreshing to listen him speak. He takes his time, but he also is great at including the feelings and thoughts of the members when answering. Like he said the group does NOT have official positions, but they work together off of their strengths. And this is Jake’s strength, being the English speaking spokesperson. He is a phenomenal representative for the group. He is amazing and I’m so very proud of him!

jake is really the icon of growth, it's so amazing how he improved so quickly between iland and now
6:06 They have never openly talked about this, but I think this specific aspect of I-LAND must have been very traumatising and stressful for all the members. You put a bunch of teenagers in the same house, make them train together and become friends, but then you have them vote each other out? While I was watching it I felt like it was really cruelly thought out. They must have been under so much mental pressure back then.
Also can we give it up for Jake who has been leading these English interviews so well, being the one who speaks the most is certainly not easy, so proud of you Jake!
Zach's interviews are always the best because we get to know about all of the members' individual thoughts, hopes and dreams as well as learn more about their work process. Thank you for a job well done, Zach, and please do have Enhypen again next time they're in the US!
Personally I preferred that format over Runext. There will be an ILAND 2 girl group version with TEDDY! Idk how that happened because he’s always just been with YG. Also I wonder if the group will be under HYBE or what. Just excited to see what will happen

I agree it’s pretty traumatizing but I still think it’s the best show of this type. It’s a competition, not a show to be nice to each other

It's like a survival show it meant to be that way, that made the show more enjoyable to watch they meant to compete to bring out the best of their abilities and its because they don't have coaches they do all the choreography on their own in each of their performances.
The way Jake support other members and speak on their behalf and encourage them to talk in interview is always best thing to watch. I LOVE YOU JAKE
Tbh jay is also really fluent but I feel like the other members don’t appreciate him and give that role to jake… like jake also really pauses and says yeah but whenever it’s about Australian they listen but give sideyes with jays America stories
@@Me__enhypenn nah the FACT is... in my opinion Jay himself have said it so many times that "i feel so nervous and uncomfortable when i talk in English... because it's been a long time i moved to korea and there was no one whom i can talk in English... so i have no more practice ..... " so the other members never force him to speak if he don't want to...... these are FACTS

Jake always encourage them specially Jay.. to speak more and more... so the members do... but you know Jake have been speaking English for 11 years. he still don't know how to speak korean that much and Jay has just learned it for 5 years when he was so young... there is a big difference.."

I’m soaur proud of these boys 🥹♥️ Jake did so well, he’s so mature & well-spoken. I could not imagine having this much poise and confidence in my early 20s! They truly are all growing up in front of our eyes 😭🫶🏽

Real talk: i'm not even familiar with Zach but this is prob one of the best interviews of Enhypen to date. Initially, I felt like there was a little bit of a somber tone, especially when they were talking about their time on I-land(which, you can tell, they were careful not to be negative about it) and it felt like there was a little bit of a struggle to explain the creative process without them flat out stating that they don't have full creative control, but having said that, Jake did a fantastic job navigating and explaining things best as he could and the other members also shared a lot of great insights. I seriously do not want anyone to take this as negative comment, it's not, but ive seen TONS of interviews with them that are more on the surface level and very "bright" so it was excellent to hear from them be as honest and as open as they could be. Always proud of precious Jake for taking the reigns of the English language interviews. I hope they know how much we all love and respect them and how proud we are of how far they have come in three years since I-land.

I am proud of Ni-ki san, at the age of 14, still young, leading the trainee members who at that time had difficulty dancing even though it was a battle between individuals to get to debut. Nishimura Riki jjang 👍🏻☺️

JAKE, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! He doesn't just talk about himself but connects with the team, I'm really impressed with his talk and personality.
I just love how mature the boys are in their thought process and how they convey it.
I've been following them for 2 years now and I've watched their interviews and other contents - they're always so raw and amazingly mature for their age (and that's from someone older than them).
Of course, they're still so young (with 1 minor member) and they are yet to experience and learn more things throughout adulthood, but what sets them apart from other people their age is they are always eager to learn and be better artists and individuals than they are today. Not to mention their grit and the hardwork they put to perfect their craft.
The eldest and youngest is like a performer leader in terms of vocal and dancing.but all the member is teaching each other.
and the second maknae is real leader of the group... wow enhyphen is good kpop group.

an amazing interview, thank you zach for another great effort! i'm so proud of how far the boys have come, they have definitely matured and are learning their strengths along the short (yet fulfilling) 3 years in their career. so so excited to see how each of them are getting so passionate about music - the producing, writing, choreographing aspects all included, and how they are all so humble and also eager to continue growing as musicians. i think it's a really healthy mindset and i'm positive it will do them good in the long run as a team!

engenes are really lacking on streaming and voting. as a new engene i can tell their success in previous comebacks is mostly because of casual listeners, also the fact that i cant even name one bad song literally they only have bangers. also most engenes are multis so they wont take time to stream and support where and when it really matters :/ so sad because they work really really hard

I love Zach and his interviews. I love the questions he asks. I like that he was like, 'we're talking to everyone' that's important in interviews, and very few American interviewers do that. I love that he also asked about a third possible continuation, and I'm curious too. I kinda hope so, so that it's a trilogy of the 'Blood Series' It's cool that they all help each other instead of their being assigned roles except for the leader. I think it makes things more...cohesive if that makes sense. I've just been enjoying seeing our boys on shows and doing interviews. Thank you, Zach!

I don't really ever leave comments on TH-cam and this is my first video of zach sang's show that I'm seeing but I want to say this was probably the best interview I've seen. He really did his research and dived deep below the surface to find out more about them, then asked them the most thoughtful questions that allowed them to express things they maybe couldn't have before. This video went over a lot of things that we didn't know about, such as their direct feelings from i-land, concerts and the overall process behind the music. It was so informative and the boys seemed genuinely at ease and wanting to answer the questions. I also like how he made sure everyone had a chance to speak. This was really great and i do hope one day in the future enha comes back onto this podcast :)
