Thanks for this video! Talisman is my favorite of all time! I commented about Talisman on a Dice tower thread and there were a bunch of haters! Arena looks great - though the miniatures have to be better than Dungeon Saga I think those are the worst!
Based on some reviews that I've seen, and your high placement of Arena (I'm a recent backer), you might really like Stormsunder. Check out King of Average's review.
I loved his review on it, and followed it throughout the Kickstarter. It looked awesome, however it was competing with Tarnares If I remember. I decided to choose the all-in for Tarnares, but promised myself I'd look out for 2nd hand copies in the future!
@@playsticbits9210 You mentioned that you recommend arena with all the expansion, what's your thought on the elder dragon expansion? The elder dragon expansion now consists of just the dragon miniature, boss pad, boss cards, and scenario sheet in the new ks.
@@GoWtheFlow The Elder dragon, much like the hydra, is only a boss and a scenario. Definitely not needed to have fun. However, if you’re looking into Tarnares Adventures, you’re going to want it for the dragon vs. Dragon mode (A mode where you choose a dragon/boss and fight another player who also chooses a dragon/boss). The short story is if you’re on a budget, you can ignore the dragon, but it’s pretty cool haha
