Just a bit of a chat and catch up while he drives plus a little bit about the Kia at the end from me.

Poor little Kia, hopefully it's fixed by now. Looking forward to to the update on the Allegro's boot lid.
Goes back in soon, waiting on parts. Still starts but a pig in the cold. Boot video at 6pm!
Love seeing the Ambassador again. If you don't use your classic every day you can ignore all the rattels and squeaks and just enjoy the car more; especially when you're driving it around lanes as fast as you can. Thats what cars were made for! :)
Ill use that "sweating power" excuse next time someone laughs at my Mini for leaking oil haha. Before now i used to make the excuse that it was free Rover approved underseal 😂.
The poor Kia doesn't sound too healthy at all. Hopefully it can be easily fixed. Fingers crossed!
The Kia is waiting parts… all warranty stuff so free 😀
It has to leak out a bit of power.... It can't store it like a modern car.

Weather seems to be getting better and I've got loads of stuff to do on the fleet.... so there's plenty planned in... 😉👍

It sounds worse because the glow plugs aren’t working and it was -2… unburnt diesel and running on 2 for a while, sounds like an old landy! Perfect once you’ve had it running or it’s warm. Parts on order and all warranty work so no worries

It made me laugh about the moss growing in the window seals. My firend used to have a moggy traveler years ago and he kept it under trees so his sliding window seals grew moss. We used to take the mick calling them his window boxes. As a trick I bought a packet of cress seeds and planted them in the seals so he really did have plants in his window boxes 😂🤣😂

The Kia has been done, new glow plugs and ok. She’s decided to keep it a while

It's no slouch... off the mark at least... They run out of puff at around 85 🤣

It's really at home on A roads... although it will cruise happily at motorway speeds... and you do get used to hearing the engine rev a little high.
It's an old borg Warner 3 speed auto.

Oooh! That Kia sounds very poorly.
Yeah unburnt diesel with no heater plugs makes a diesel knock when very cold. Going in soon awaits parts but ok to drive

Never had a Ambassador but had a 76 Princess 2200HLS, was really nice and proved to be reliable, bit juicy with the auto box but when short of money for petrol i used to use my little Fs1e pop pop to go to work on instead. Happy days 😂
