I came up in the 90s and had to learn beat matching on real decks with vinyl. Modern sets sound much more clean than 90s mixes but if many of the newer Djs had to throw down a vinyl mix it would be obvious who was actually skilled and who relied on auto bpm matching and l.e.d bpm screens.
