When DB found out the aranocampa is a quickie… DOES HE KNOW?? 😂😂😂 09:35 Really enjoyed how friendly these two were to each other; you don’t have to be toxic to play this game 🎉❤
I played against Dark World with Traptrix last night. It's definitely an interesting matchup. Trying to bait Grapha Fusion to then pop off, using your holes properly to make the correct hits, it's a big think fight.
I’ve seen a ton of dark world players do this, but you have to do archives chain link 2 after the dark world tutorers because the dark world monsters are all mandatory and archives is not mandatory to discard 1 draw 2.
Ah you're correct, I just assumed that he would also be mandatory like other DW monsters. I have seen some of them do the same thing with snoww though, and snoww is mandatory
@@robertbauerle5592 I gotchu, its a pretty easy thing to mix up. They are the only ones to not be mandatory in an archetype of all mandatory effects so it makes sense
I understand if its too much to ask for, but is it possible to see the deck lists at the end of the video especially if the decks arent entirely solved yet?
The traptix player actually had game that turn at 13:31 especially since he drew into parallel exceed for the free extend and then get your normal summon to go off.
What I don’t get is how holetea can be activated in grave to special effect during opponents turn it’s not a quick effect or state it can be activated during either players turn?
I’m new to yugioh and got my girl to start playing with me (she’s using 3x beware of traptrix and I’m using 3x dark world) She’s been whooping my ass I’m gonna be honest lmao… her traptrix destroys my 3x dark world… should I stick with it and upgrade my dark world to compete with her deck? Or do you feel like these two decks don’t interact well enough? Thx I subbed enjoyed the vid!
nah man stick too it, normaly i tell people to get off their cope rouge strats but darkworlds have some serious potential and especially if you guys are new to the game both deck are great for teaching new players how to play combo/control without having a 15 min turn 1 every game and lots of interaction in the match up
@@raymaztereljackson9729 hey man thanks for the reply! I’ll trust your knowledge of the game… been doin some research of my own and I’m seeing a lot of Nessie / other staples I should add to my deck. Any other recommendations for maybe my extra deck? 3x fusions aren’t enough lol
sadly traptrix structure deck is a bit more ready off the shelf compared to the dark world one , maybe upgrade your deck a little bit and you’ll be able to play through the trap cards more often : )
@@xanttares I think you could improve the deck even without spending too much money. Nessies sure are nice but I don't think they're mandatory - bigfoots, thunderbirds, mothmans and tsuchinoko can be enough for the danger! side of the deck. To make up for this you could add 2/3 allure of darkness and 2/3 trade-in (I've seen people recommending against the card, but I like it, it's not like grapha and reign-beaux become useless just because they're discarded for cost, sometimes you draw 2 and get to start your recycling plays for it. Also nice if you put some lava golems in your deck) for the draw power the deck needs. Also look up for zalamander catalyzer, it's very good in this deck and super cheap. What you're lacking the most is probably in the extra deck, since the deck uses it a lot. The best rank 4s are number 60: dugares the timeless (I'd say mandatory, it can help unbrick some hands), abyss dweller, number 41: bagooska, and maybe number 106: giant hand (just a random negate, is cheap). If you use some level 8 dangers such as bigfoot and thunderbird, you could use them with grapha and reign-beaux to summon some powerful rank 8s: zombie vampire (the one used near the end of this video, not sure this is what it's called), coach king giantrainer (draw 3, gives you gas you could need as soon as you're able to get 3 lvl 8s on board to make him), hieratic sun dragon overlord of heliopolis (just a cool guy, could be used to clear boards going second), number 22: zombiestein and number 38: hope harbinger dragon (both negates that could be part of your end board). Then you'd want some link 2/3s to clear your board when you need space when you're nearing your end board and you want to keep summoning and bouncing back sillva: my favorites are akashic magician (lets you add ceruli back to your hand after you summoned him on your gf's field) and proxy f magician (lets you summon the grapha fusion even if you didn't get ascension. Not the most efficient use of your resources maybe, but I like the idea of not having to depend solely on ascension if I want my boss monster), but any generic link 2 would do, stuff like underclock taker - again they're mainly used just to make up space on your board. Same for the link 3s, 1/2 decode talkers or some garbage like that should be enough. After this you'd likely want to have 1/2 link 4s to go into such as apollousa (very powerful, not exactly a budget choice) and/or saryuja skulldread (unbricks your hand, cheaper than apollousa), but stuff like knightmare gryphon is still better than nothing. Again, these are NOT the most optimal choices, what I've listed is what I would buy to drastically improve the deck's potential without spending much more money on it. If money isn't a problem then things like danger! nessie, apollousa and muckraker from the underworld would be great to get. But you could probably get all the cards I listed for under 10/15/20$ :) (depending on where you live, what language you want your cards in, and maybe leaving out abyss dweller and apollousa (?))
@@ak47dragunov yes definitely I think it's crazy how this deck is able to play against one of the strategies that has the most gas in the current format and still manage to hold it's own against it
If you play DW correctly, DW trashes Traptrix. I have both decks and play them against each other and DW always wins. Gy effects and dangers circumnavigate the trapholes except for gravediggers.
Dark world all you do is press buttons and you eventually handloop your opponent it’s actually pretty funny there’s almost no real thought process involved just keep bouncing and discarding

Love seeing the traptrix replays. Also just a wholesome game without toxcicity is a nice change of pace

Holy...this was amazing, if you get more DW vs Traptrix, please post more, especially high rated.
Appreciated
Now that was an excellent match
The trap trick player chocked game 3 he had it

At 6:36, Reign is not mandatory. They can do archives chain 1, I’m not sure if there were other instances though
Rb and genta are not mandatory, so you can chain block archives with them.

Finally some dark world and traptrix. I've actually been looking for a video right now b4 you uploaded this 😂
The best thing about having new decks on the channel is we get to see what words dbgrinder butchers the pronunciation of
"It is a quick effect, i'm just bad" had me rolling
bro i looked at the thumbnail and actively thought "oh cool a past format video!.... Wait..."

love to watch this
The Traptrix Arachno monster seems to get a new name every video
Thanks for traptrix replay, has a huge potential for me
@12:23 doesnt the xyz traptrick prevent silva?
Upload more stuff like this.
chat what do you side out going second with dark world
Dark world going second into disruption is super cool. Shame its so much better going first.
Why the hell did the dark world player sp summ genta at 15:00?
traptrix monster summons it back
How do we send replays? I added you on discord but never got an add back haha
you send the replays on discord
Now this a replay lets goo, no big mistakes is rare nowadays it seems
just in case you dont know every darkworld card has the name of a color or similar
Sera couldn't be destroyed by with rafflesia up on the board at 4:30
Need more traptrix videos. Deck is fun and doesn't look shitter tier
how did rafflesia die at 10:38?
Danger Bigfoot!
@@TheDBGrinder makes no sense because rafflesia cant be destroyed by battle or card effects
i dont see whats stopping that , rafflesia only protects the ones near it but not itself

bro i play fur hire and labrynth.... I AM THAT GUY
It’s pronounced Raf-lay-sia, its a type of giant stinky flower that grows in the rainforest.
Good video
Dark world has crazy high power ceiling if it gets rolling. It’d be fairly scary in the meta if Kash didn’t have an easy macro cosmos imo
Lowkey dw would be t1 if it werent for ariseheart, shifter and droll. All those cards are auto win against it. (And dweller was even worse)

Straight facts lol
This is why I side deck droll and not nib for dark worlds only people don't respect them
More dw pls
dark world players
