I was wondering if you can transliterate the words from Devanagari script to the Roman alphabet so I can recite them. I’m not a Hindu, but I have been very interested in it for a long time, and I find reciting mantras helps my mental state. I can’t quite remember since I was young, but I do remember when I was around 5 years old, I watched the 1993 Ramayana animated movie, and briefly the 1988 Mahabharat TV show, though I watched it on a rerun on a TV station. Because it was so long and after a while I couldn’t find the channel anymore, I couldn’t watch more. I’m turning 20 this year and still interested in Hinduism and Indian history as a non-Hindu or Indian 😅.
Translations are as below. hope this helps!!
Option 1 -
Om tryambakam yajāmahe sugandhim puṣṭivardhanam
urvārukam iva bandhanān mṛtyor mukṣīya mā'mṛtāt
Option 2 -
Om. We worship the three-eyed one (Lord Shiva) who is fragrant and who nourishes all beings. May he liberate us from the bondage of worldly attachments, like a ripe cucumber falling off from its vine. May he grant us immortality
