I mean I only play PvE in tarkov. Up until now i would use SPT but since the official PvE launch I play it once a day. There's really no reason why extraction shooters don't do this. Hunt showdown and many others have such beautiful worlds, sounds and designs only for it to be ruined by PvP sweats. There's nothing wrong with PvP by any means but it's such a dropped opportunity.

i had stopped pvp and had no intention of returning after 8 years of playing. until PVE.
Same now I can play at my own pace and not die to a cheat at minimum once in 5 raids

I usually play for like 2-3 months then stop when i feel im to far behind because i work so fucking much. Had pve not dropped i probably wouldnt be on tarkov at all. When it wipes again i will play pvp again and repeat the cycle. I however have buddies who got tarkov for the pve and want to try pvp when it wipes. Overall i think the pve was a great addition. Helps newbies get into and learn the game and keeps the casuals playing the game when we feel like pvp is to far ahead.

PvE helps me get experience vs bosses and learning the maps while also being fun. Nothing more satisfying than winning in PVP though. Outsmarting/outplaying real people is clearly superior to owning Ai(especially BSG Ai)
I have had a couple of Kappas back in the days I can still play a lot in the graduate school.
Ever since I started working, I could play less and just couldn't play that much, grinding Kappa over and over is just not worth spending my time anymore.
I'd rather play in non-wiping PvE than to lose my shit every half a year when those shit literally took 3-times more time to accumulate than before.
I finally escaped tarkov and I'm never coming back 😊
The people playing pve coming back to pvp and not struggling with scavs may encourage them to stay and bring their friends back. Assuming BSG can do a wipe that's not plagued by cheaters.

Yep.. I was part of the population that quit pvp cuz the rats and cheaters got so bad last wipe,b4 that I had 6k hours in pvp.. But then when I got access to pve I came back.. lol

I play pve because my PC can't handle the pvp mode, and it's great even if it's really easy to predict what does the other pmc's.

@@cinchmccoy there are always going to be new players playing pvp every 1st day of wipe because they're interested unless they buy unheard or standard and buy the PvE DLC, every single wipe tarkov servers take a huge hit for that reason because of such a huge influx of new and returning players. I'll see you on wipe day bro watch those corners 🫡

cheaters arent the problem it is the chads and rats and w key warriors - most of us never even encounter a cheater unless we go to labs and the cheater problem is waaaay overstated - if ya think you are runnin into cheaters erry raid you are just bad at the game and dont realize you are being outplayed

I stopped playing when I discovered over 70% of their servers were overtaken by hackers. I tested this by going to a lab spot back to back 3 times in a row. I hid in a room off the beaten path (no where near an escape) not caring for myself to get out with loot, and I was naded all three times by different people, one of them being a random twitch streamer. Besides myself there was a tarkov youtuber who also tested this himself and made a video on it. It was worse than my experience lmfao. I won't be coming back to this game until they actually fix this issue. Cheaters have very small pp.

To be honest pvp has just turned into who has a brighter light and better ping. Only way to counter both of those is ratting. Take flash lights out of the game or reduce the effective range and game gets better
the flashlights in tarkov are just aids, why does every flashlight up close make you have the craziest astigmatism of all time, i literally have keratoconus irl which is an astigmatism that worsens as i age and the godrays i see off bright lights irl look just as bad as they do in game

I think 90% of PVE players will be back for wipe. PVE is too devoid of content to retain many players. And it being late wipe rn means that people are bored of the game just like the last 4 years of Tarkov and are looking for other games.
Once they add mod support everyone who only plays spt which is a lot will probably come play this and it’ll bring back a load of players and pve alone brough a load of new players
Speak for thyself, PvE is everything I've wanted for the last 4 years. Keep the cheaters, rats, and the struggle, we PvE'ers want to enjoy our 2 hours of gaming in the evening instead of loathing. As soon as it gets mod support, it will be infinitely more fun than PvP.

@@cinchmccoy And your progression is not wiped! I could not stand spending so much time in raids only dying at or near extract and having to run it back. Its a waste of time! At least if i die in PvE, I know how to counter. PvP is too random, too much anxiety for me when its supposed to be fun.
@@armbender that's the point. The game can only be this rewarding as long as the risk is high. In PVE the risk is low therefore the reward is small.
dude :D sorry but your gamestyle , and so many cheaters , and a lot of players who do anything in the game destroy pvp :( i like u as a person but ur gameplay makes also players quit pvp :D but the most reason is cheaters ... i get kappa and all stuff last wipe online, but i died so often against the best player in the world :D so i think a lot of players are on my side. i dont say anything about ur gamestyle, but it sucked a lot of players up too loot 40 mins and then give the stuff too some cheater or camper ! and thats the main reason i think ! i will not play pvp bec. cheaters .

I’ve played pvp for years and years and I’ve always been confident in my skill on the game. Pvp players just coping saying pve is easier. It’s different < that’s the main thing. It’s a way to enjoy the game outside of just who’s got a bigger pecker or who has better ping or who has their flashlight bound to their mouse button. Or who has desync like whatever I’m doing every task in the game.
