How do you add refrigerant to your vehicle? I have the exact same engine where they decided the part you need to connect to is under the engine and none of the hoses for the refrigerant fit. Thank you for any help.
nice video! you seem knowledgeable, and I have a quick question. i’m trying to fit an ac into a non ac truck. i’m seeing a listing for an 84 22r 4running and i’m wondering if it would fit into a 88 22re truck? i want to replace the compressor and condenser and evap assembly. would it work?
the 4runner systems are little different as they have a slightly larger compressor and condenser but if you can find a complete one with the correct compressor bracket it will work.
Hey...Just a small question...When you connect the fittings on your ac projects...Do you use any sealing tape, or anything on the threads to make a leak proof seal?..Thx
Where can i get replacement hoses for the low and high sides of the condenser? And i also need the hard line that runs from the dryer to the firewall. Thx!
Rockauto has the suction line and discharge hose for the compressor. The liquid line that goes from the drier to the evaporator is obsolete and will have to be sourced used.
Thanks for the info regarding the Evaporator ,
can you leave a link for the condensor you got? @Patrick Kissman
Yes please share link for condenser

Can you also share a link for the parallel flow condenser? Im only finding 'universal' ones. Yours looks like it has the OEM-style fittings.

all the fittings on this a/c system are o ring fittings. the o ring seals it, no need for any thread tape.
