To be honest I've watched a lot of episodes where the judge actually did correct women for disrespecting the mother but in this particular episode I think she was just focused on getting the mother her closure. I think she knew if she would have said anything further to the defendant her behavior would escalate and she would become even more disrespectful and they'd have to close the case so I think the Judge was just trying to get the mon the closure she desperately needed.

I've been watching episodes of PC back to back. Now, I have a true understanding of this show. They bring people there to solve paternity issues true enough but they all so clean a lot of them up to make them look like wholesome, respectable, citizens. However, the "ratchetness" and trashiness always overpower the the makeover. This woman's son has died, she's terminally ill and this person could not find compassion in her heart. She will be the death of Ms. Monroe if they try to become close. At 33, if the mother doesn't change her attitude soon, she will become set in her ways and will eventually die unhappy, bitter and friendless.

Once the young lady goes out and finds housing, then goes back and shows proof of this, the courts WOULD RESTORE custody because anyone/ANY MUM can loose a job and find themselves in such circumstances if they have no family around or close friends therefore that circumstance alone would NOT make the courts PERMANENTLY take custody away from the mom...Besides most communities have numerous resources in place to help house kids and their single parents so that no kids are on the street with no home! (And especially when a mother has lost custody temporarily specifically because of that) She'd get help in probably 2 SHAKES OF A LAMBS TAIL!* So either way, grandma will be at HER MERCY when it comes to seeing that kid for however long she has left... *Unfortunately*

I've been watching episodes of PC back to back. Now, I have a true understanding of this show. They bring people there to solve paternity issues true enough but they all so clean a lot of them up to make them look like wholesome, respectable, citizens.
However, the "ratchetness" and trashiness always overpower the the makeover. This woman's son has died, she's terminally ill and this person could not find compassion in her heart. *Even for arguments sake, let's just say she had nowhere to stay and CPS and the courts find out, yes, it would be possible to take the kids BUT ONLY temporarily into foster care (or grandma care). Once the young lady goes out and finds housing, then goes back and shows proof of this, the courts WOULD RESTORE custody because anyone/ANY MUM can loose a job and find themselves in such circumstances if they have no family around or close friends therefore that circumstance alone would NOT make the courts PERMANENTLY take custody away from the mom...Besides most communities have numerous resources in place to help house kids and their single parents so that no kids are on the street with no home! (And especially when a mother has lost custody temporarily specifically because of that) She'd get help in probably 2 SHAKES OF A LAMBS TAIL!*
So either way, grandma will be at HER MERCY when it comes to seeing that kid for however long she has left... *Unfortunately*
