Great tutorial. It seems the neckline of the standard bodice partern you used for the waist coat is wider than 3"×3". Is that correct? If yes please what's the neckline measurement that you used. Thanks.

Thanks for the tutorial...it is precise ..n very clear..can you upload d continuation of the same for stiching .. as the lining is stitched in different manner for coats... Awaiting your video.
Followed the basic bodice pattern, this video and then the tutorial on how to assemble the vest, it looks cute minus my terrible sewing skills and some bad math on my part. It was quite simple and this was clear to follow. 😊

For those with larger busts, is a side dart recommend (like with the basic bodice pattern)? If so, would it be put in the same way as in the basic bodice?

I used 4 by 4 ma'am. Shoulder measurement is 7.5 after dividing it by 2. Hope you get it
