On Deacon Blues. Becker and Fagen were living in LA at the time and they heard the name of the great LA Rams football player Deacon Jones on the news every night. That's where they got the name. It has nothing to do with the Wake Forest Deacons. That's like people who say Rikki Don't Lose That Number is about Rickie Lee Jones or Godwhacker is about George Bush. How hard is this to look up??????? PS this is directed at the person who in the Chat said this was not how they got the name of the song in a very nasty way.

I called my wife into the room as I started this reaction video. She sat down and got this big smile on her face as she said "do you think they are going to like it"?. "they sure as hell better. If they don't they better get hearing aids" You two did not disappoint. We lived this music in the 60s and 70s. The inside of my head is wallpapered with most everything you two play. We are so happy you have a appreciation of the 2 greatest decades for music called Rock and Roll. Both of you are usually spot on in your opinions of the structure of the music and the overall meaning. This is our music til we die. But at our end it's ALL yours. Take care of it.

Thank you for articulating what I've been trying to since I found this channel. I was born in '74 so I have the '80's & '90's wallpapered to the inside of my head, but classic rock is the glue. My parents made sure I didn't miss out on the best music ever made. My dad is one of the best musicians I've ever known, and he had an epic record collection which he handed down to me, along with a lift-top record player with enormous speakers, I mean it was a piece of furniture. There's no other way to listen to Magic Man.
Thanks for your great comment, and thanks to Andy & Alex for making sure this music is appreciated by this generation. 🤘💜🤘

Your comment about enjoying this song still at age 45 is spot on. This is the bar set of quality music I grew up with. The point is, if you really love it this much then please, please pass it on to the next generation so it can stay alive. Never before has there been this many musicians and artists who create the music, lyrics, play all the instruments, become their own producers and promoters and then take it all on the road for us to see! It most likely won't happen again on this level we experienced in the 60's and 70's. I so appreciate watching the two of you react and hearing your positive feedback. It's like living it all over again! Thank you for all you do, hope this continues for a very long time!💕💕💕

Love vids like this where I can say to Pre-"Do It Again" Andy & Alex, "LOL. Dudes. You got no clue. None." And I can say to Post-"Do It Again" Andy & Alex, "Welcome to the club."
    --
Hey dudes, about the water... You young city slickers.
Imagine being out in the hot, dusty west, trudging along under the blazing sun.... and some jackwagon comes along and steals your water bottle. Now you are looking at dehydration, heat stroke, and potentially death.
Water isn't this "little thing". 3 days. 3 days and the average person is Done. In the desert, that is a whole other rabbit hole.
How long can you go without food? a month.
    Money? Cars?
Some people say "no shelter" is worse but that is very conditional. In temperate zones you could live for months under the stars. But nowhere on the planet can you live a week without water.
Nothing small about "stole your water".
    Hydrate or Die.
