Lightning does not damage the shield. Tested this yesterday on a pop game. The damage was coming from the dilos attacking the shield

Durpy Dodo there isn’t an option to turn off friendly fire...
In my experience a high level enforcer is still the best mount for yellow orbital drops because of their speed, the teleport ability, and boosted corruption damage. 10k health and the rest in melee and I usually don't have any issues getting yellow drops.

John UP I've seen people use trikes stegos Carnos and other small dinos
Soul Stealer yeah if you use carnos there either has to be like 50 or they all have to be imprinted and max level perfect tames
Syntac, for a reminder, giga's are the best method for combating the bosses on extinction, specifically the ice, forest, and gamma titan. if you can tame two high level giga's and imprint them, one can take on a red drop on it's own. Giga's do not get enraged as often as they used to, and can take multiple hits from a aplha enraged trike without getting enraged. They are also good for farming alpha enraged t-rex teeth. All in all, go for giga's, its worth it. Also, you can find giga's in the wasteland area, towards the south side of the city, and also towards the front end of the ice biome. @Adog Alex, say if I had a Giga with around 140 melee, and I were to do 20 mutations on it, would it be a very formidable asset in purple drops AND all the Titan fights? (Including the 3 phases of the King Titan)

Pve is so much easier, just stand over it with a giga or two and chomp away. You can't damage the drop in pve.
The server us set to pvp to he can damage his tamea n stuff. Like bad babys
Yes, I know he doesn't play on PVE. I was just commenting on how much easier it is on PVE.
LORDHELIX - he actually does play on pve but he has friendly fire settings on so he hits drops and bad babies etc
Snicker Doge No he has PvP settings because he can pick up wild dinos with his tames.
You can pick up wild dinos in PvE if you want.

You can drop the crystal on the ground near the Gachas. They will pick it up anyway even if their weight limit is already reached. For example they could carry like 5000 crystal which is 5000 weight obviously even if they can technically only carry 1300. Transferring only works until the weight limit is reached but dropping it and letting the Gachas pick it up somehow tricks the Ark weight mechanic. I don't know if crystal is that efficient though because I personally don't use it for the Gachas since they eat so much of it. But with that method you can still use your 300 stacks somehow instead of just wasting it or farming stone just for the Gacha production.

Spike walls are great to use for them! You get so many from the drops just spam the crap out of them around it, the corrupted dinos will break them (metal spiked walls) but just spam more down as they break it helps so much! Another good thing to have is like 10 argys follow you on aggressive and the will do the bulk of the work for you.

Not saying you have to use this but in your genesis series you can add the upgrade station mod “not says you use it to upgrade tools” to salvage the saddles and weapons you don’t need from missions :)

The corrupted Dino’s have a camouflage and they magically appear just like that it’s terrifying
Tip for doing OSDs, set up a dino leash or two and have several creatures set to aggressive. Work pretty will for me, but I'm on official and don't have to worry about damaging OSDs myself. Also might try breeding up some Rexs for the blue and yellow ones.

If you drop stone on the ground not with drop all but one by one you can keep giving the gachas stone since they automatically pick it up. So u can put infinite amount of stone in them that way

I always use wyverns because their breath doesn’t damage the drop, a few tribe mates on a single type of wyvern can defend it pretty easily solo is possible if you’re careful
Fire wyvern is the best in my opinion cuz you can just use ur breath all around you and make everything light on fire rhinos and mammoths also work well because of their size and knock back :p

Hey Syntac, maybe not in this series, but how well do you think the Magmasaurs would do for this? They have that Rare Flower Aggros ability, and maybe along side Rex or Reapers you could do these fairly easily.
Seems like you should just build a generator and a turret or two to go along with your spiked fences to protect those orbital drops if you want good loot out of them and damage to the chest reduces item quality.
EDIT: Maybe your Rock Drake with the poison breath and lingering DoT cloud would work also.
The best thing to feed gachas is seeds get an iguanadon to craft seeds
Syntac If you drop a drop a shit ton of crystal in front of the Gachas they will still pick that up and still pick up pellets, metal, stone, flint, warmaps etc even if they're over encumbered you just can't add the items straight from you inventory into to there's. It's better if you drop the shit you want them to eat because weight doesn't matter and it's faster. (If this doesn't work than I don't what to tell because it works on Xbox so it should work for you.)

Yellow drop was super easy to solo with Thylacoleo. Just solidly leveled with imprint.

The only wyvern that does not damage the shield with it's breath is the lightning all the other ones damage it though for some reason

Btw about your gen on ultimate ark if you end up doing it I think it would be ok if you change you difficulty back to 6 and your imprint quality back to 3 using single player settings messes everything up
Syntac feed your gachas seeds tame an iguanodon and your good to go. Probably the best thing to feed them.
You need more than 750 corrupt hearts. Mini titans require 100 each so it's 900 without king titan. How did you count it to be 750?

If I'm not mistaken the s+ grinder gives you the 100 percent of items used to craft the object right? Unlike the original where it gives you i believe only 100 of each thing

You should switch it to PVE for Ultimate Ark. That way your creatures won't damage the drop.
