my headcanon for Red Mist:
when the fish was booing at Squidward, and because it was October at the time, SpongeBob and Patrick thought the fish were imitating ghosts for whatever strange reason, so they played along (not knowing that they were making fun of Squidward). It was later on when SpongeBob realized his mistake, and rushed over to Squidward's house in his unicycle to reason with him not to take his own life. But that lingering line from one fish "Oh Brother, this guy stinks!" Was too much for Squidward, because he was dealing with other mental health issues at the time. All of this was too much, and SpongeBob's apologies were meaningless to him, resulting Squidward to... well... pull the trigger. SpongeBob is shocked, trying to make sure he's still alive, but to no avail. Calling the paramedics, they arrive, but only to confirm Squidwards death.

A Doomsday Legendary Edition Remix Cover Idea: Doomsday Legendary Edition Remix but Dr Eggman sings it and He also gives up everything
Story (SELF HARM AND SUICIDE WARNING): It starts just like What If Eggman Gave Up Video by Comic Fan 18 but the following differences are: Metal Sonic gets deactivated before He became Neo Metal Sonic and gets destroyed including the badniks and the animals are free on earth roaming around again.
Dr Eggman gets into a jail cell with sharp weapons and sharp objects including the ones used to torture people with in the cell on a table, He also didn't send a message to anyone as a note and It is not the one Shadow, Rouge and Omega had found him in.
He cuts and pokes and stabs his face and himself but to keep himself alive so longer enough and Shadow, Rouge and Omega didn't go on a mission this time and Sonic Team and Team Rose wonder where Eggman was.
Eggman meanwhile remembers that His Grandfather and Hero Gerald Robotnik never care for him and never cared for him even in extremely way too super duper cruel way.
He even became so extremely depressed and heartbroken and sad to the point He became so suicidal and, He gave up forever and realized How much of a jerk and how evil He was.
He got a note saying to all of Sonic's Friends and Sonic that He quit and gave up and became so extremely super duper way too depressed and heartbroken and sad.
They went to investigate him in a jail cell and There He was with a cut up and cut open flesh and missing flesh and missing his suit pieces all over himself.
