When I was in high school the bikers and skaters were always getting in fights over our bike pegs chunking curbs and thrashing ledges. I skated once in a while so I found a way to get schedule 80 pvc pipe over my pegs, soon most of the people I knew were running it- slid so much better and ended the fighting, often we’d leave badly porous concrete full of pvc grindings and skaters wouldn’t even need the wax when we were done.
So rad
Maybe some pvc on a drill or grinder could be used to wax a ledge

Z-Roller Skins from the 80’s , they sold big sheets as well and you could make your board a “slick bottom” and save your graphic.

@@StuffAboutStuff I put 3 sheets on my NewDeal Andy Howell deck and made it completely a slick bottom before it was even a thing.
Z Rollers came out with these is 89-90, as well as Santa Cruz and World Industries. They also came on sheets so you can make your own slickbottom.

Found your channel a few months back and been watching every day ever since. Finally scratched that itch to skate again after 15 years and bought a skateboard 🤘🤘
My biggest concern with these would be replacing them. Ive finally worn down the tailbone on my cruiser and am going to cut & drill the new one i just bought from a skate store. I feel like replacing these would either need a heat gun and sandpaper or would be a nightmare. I wouldnt wanna limit the life of my board just because the rails got worn down

Would it be possible to do a video where you take someone who wants to learn to skateboard, never even stood on a board and teach them how to ride while also giving us who are learning at home pointers so we can learn from someone who is also learning little by little?
Cause learning from someone who already is able to balance on a skateboard isn't the same

They have ahaha, I think it was with flatground freestyle tricks w mike osterman but they did one this year (or late last year, need to lay off the lettuce lol)
They taught one of their girlfriends or production crew or something 5 freestyle tricks including a rail stand to Casper or something similar.

I would love skidplates made of this material, it would be much thinner so you wouldnt mess up your ollies, but would help prevent razor tail. Sounds like a dream come true for someone practicing manuals.

I don't know if I would put it on my nose and tail worried about pop issues like if it slides a bit instead of catching and popping. The board part though looks right. I don't like traditional rails on the board but these may work

Have you guys done a Velcro board yet? On top of the board and on the bottom of your shoes???
I’m so proud of these guys I started watching since they were at less than 10 k subs and now they are at 5.86 million subs they deserve it all. these guys work hard to help and motivate generations of skaters I was using these videos a decade ago for trick tips and I leaned a lot of tricks from them and learned to enjoy the process.

I own an Everslick board and it is literally the most butter board I've owned and wouldn't go anything else, it's really strong too!
