Oh thanks alot for the kind words! Congrats on your retirement! Onto a whole new chapter ay! I'm glad you've a good outlook towards to christmas! Enjoy it to the fullest buddy!
Did some FPS testing with the reshader settings you have. FPS drop wasn't drastic. On a i7 11700k with a 4070ti Super with max'd out settings in iRacing, FPS in a GT3 on Nord was 97 (off) and 92 (on) over a 5 minute average. The tradeoff for graphics/performance (in my rig) is worth it. Thanks for the quick tutorial. It's a great tweaking option. These things are fun to play around with.
Thanks for the heads-up!!! Couple questions... Does it have any impact on FPS??? Or it can be used without harming them? Is it also creating the effects in VR?
I see Chernarus! The Dayz mod is literally what GOT me into pc gaming about 18 years ago. I remember reshade having a bit of a performance hit. Have you noticed anything?
Ol' chernarus ay haha, If my memory serves me right, to the left of where I took that shot was a hill near Vybor, had some epic gunfights there back in the day!
I find all I need to do is crank the in-game settings for the display. The 0-0-0 is too dull. I only use re-shade to remove the bluish color cast and that is just a hint of a difference. I find that re-shade can maybe look good in one situation then blow highlights or crush shadows in the next. I calibrate my OLED HDR monitor with the windows calibration tool first. Then after that all the in-game tuning should look relatively good when it comes to highlights. My iracing results are bright with color pop. No need for color saturation.

Boom! Thanks for this!!! Happy holidays!
Same to you!
Been using this couple years now, can’t use IRacing without it 👌
Reshade can negatively impact performance. I haven’t tried it since the recent update but It did negatively impact FPS prior. Just an fyi.

Do note that this comes with a noticeable performance impact.
Thanks for highlighting it here! Personally I've never noticed much of a hit. but good spot!

Nice tip Jack! The colours in my sim look all wrong, need to mess around with some settings. Keep it up! 👌
How does it work with VR?
is there any setting in reshade to improove peformance ?
I don’t think so… although it would be great…
This reshade tool is great, but not for me, running a 4060 I lose about 25 fps with that on… yes, I need an upgrade…
